Have to say I didn't see the game last night as I went furniture shopping at IKEA  :D but final score plesently surprised me :barscarf: Good to see Ramsey score, for all his lack of ability, he sure does try his hardest every time and scores more often than some of our more praised midfielders.

Jenkinson was our best player against Chavs, so another good performance is very encouraging and calming at the same time :D the only downside is, it probably means Sagna is on his way out :?:

Fair play to Gervhino, I thougt he was absolute rubbish last saturday, but as someone pointed out, his goalscoring record so far is actualy rather good. I'll be glad if he keeps proving me wrong.

And as for blahblahtunde, my conviction that he IS Adrian Durham of Talksport is growing by day

Let's see if we can beat West Ham and creep up the table :barscarf:

Might have been nine years but only a handful of decent performances. It infuriates me that he was never good enough for AFC, yet has moved to a better team and won things. Still can't get my head round how he's moved on to better things.

ok i have had enough and couldnt even post last night due to babatunde acting the bollocks with shit about arsenal . we all have our moments when we like to have a bitch and a moan about players but we still like to see us win and can put our hands up and say im sorry if we make a bad call on a player , well all except for baba who has become to much of a struggle for me to even read his posts so bye bye baba ya wum, banned.
Is this a complete ban ?? If so then I think that it is ridiculous. Red and Baba banned in the space of a week or two. Never mind I'm sure goonersid will be back soon to tell us all one more time how he wished Shawcross had broken both of Ramsey's legs - a far less serious offence than some kid having a laugh about liking Denilson, and Baba having a few heated arguments with other people.

Bring back Baba and Red. I don't think I've ever heard either of them actually wish physical injury upon our own players

I dont get it...?

Baba posted last night and was immediately jumped on as usual by posters who dont like the way he posts. (Not really what he says, they just dont like how he says it :? )
Now I'd reckon hes entitled to his opinion and being an open forum and he didn't "personally abuse" anyone, I dont see why he was banned. But I do see a reason for those who immediately jumped on him and started calling him names to be at least warned.

I counted 9 posts by Baba. 8 of them defending himself from flamers after his initial post.
I counted 28 posts directly aimed at Baba personally (not his opinions, not Arsenal, baba personally). Now the very people who say say" Baba takes over threads with his negative shit" are the very ones who are "taking over the threads" by flaming him, quoting him each and every time he posts.

Just as with Red Member. Posters on here just didn't like him/her and so whinged and moaned until he/she was banned. But this time as with Red Member the mods have got it wrong. :?

As for your mention of Sid. Correct me if I'm wrong but was he something to do with the forum being shut down......?

Just back from the game. At times it was a bit like a friendly but am delighted with the result. Gibbs and Jenks looked great again. Am really delighted and surprised with the progress of Jenks. Pod taken off again

Just saw the highlights and I thought Jenko was best player...and Rambo's finish was quality.

It looked like they closed Santi out of the game...he now does the Creative role - and we work off, from and around him (creatively speaking) - we're gonna need to protect him more and free him up so it doesn't happen again, looke dlike loads of passes were going awry!

Nasri the same. That's what enough money does eventually - though as expected Nasri was/ is a bit part at City, and he's now been dropped by France as a result.

Both were two good bits of busIness though. And City are still shit in Europe, in fact as far the uk teams go, we look the best of a bad bunch.

Exactly - MODs can we have an explanation please. Baba and Red posted some of the funniest stuff on here. Explanation to the points raised please. Wishing injury upon own player - temporary ban. Defending yourself or making a few funny comments about some of our crap players - total ban

If my posts on here last night offended anybody other than the troll intended then I apologise. I think it is unrealistic, however, to expect a positive reaction towards a troll who came on an Arsenal forum to berate an Arsenal team when he had spent the night watching Citeeh.

This place is good for debate and sharing frustrations. As frustrated as everbody feels from time to time you know that when Arsenal score there is a collective cheer by posters on here. I do not believe for one minute that the troll cheered anything Arsenal. I hope his ban is permanent because him not being an Arsenal supporter removes his "pass" for his consuming negativity to anything Arsenal.

The now quiet poster from Sunderland is one of the best on here, but if he posted like the troll he wouldn't last a week. I have grave concerns for the true principles which underlie self-sustainability and despair for the lost legacy of the Invincibles but I'm still a gooner. If a warning is warranted for telling a troll what I think of him then so be it, I'm a big boy. Regret offending others but not the troll.

I can comment about Sids ban seeing as im the one who issued it.

Sid was banned for 7 days for the comment about Ramsey. It was a shit thing to write as most if not all of you agree. Previous to this Sid has had 1 warning if im correct and had never been banned before therefore a tempaory ban in my opinion was the first thing to do. What happens when Sid comes back is up to Sid and the mod who happens to be around at the time but i feel a 7 day ban was the right thing to do for now. Ive met Sid (i'll own up before anyone starts saying im his mate and therefore lenient) and it would have been easy for me to give him a warning and just delete his posts but i didnt.

Although i didnt ban either Baba or Red i totally back the mod(s) that did, they both in their own way ruined threads and had had numerous warnings and previous bans (something different to Sid see where im going here?)

Sorry if this comes across as being self important it really isnt meant to be but i just want to get my point across and find it hard to believe anyone would defend any of the three mentioned above.

'self important '? You flash ??? Never mate. :barscarf:

I haven't defended Babatunde. I just don't get it that so many posters complained about him. I don't find him offensive. He is always rude, objectionable, dismissive and provocative.

Just sayin'

Flash - you were right to ban sid for that pathetic comment and deleting Mikey's stupid post about Diaby

I still don't understand the decision to ban Red or Baba, and I know you weren't responsible for it.

Red certainly did NOT hijack threads - often he would make one or two posts within a thread and then disappear for days. Baba has as much right to defend his point of view as anyone else and he is funny.

In my view the place will be a lot more boring without the two of them around.

I think the MODs should reconsider the decision to ban them.

IMO red didn't believe 90% of the stuff he wrote and he was only writing stuff to get a reaction.

IMO Baba believes everything he writes and I think most of us agree with most of what he says but my problem with him arises with the fact that he actually seems to prefer it when we get beat or play shit so he can come on and give the manager of the decade both barrels. I want wenger gone also but boy do I love it when we are winning and playing well, Baba seemed to get annoyed when we win :!:
