THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I was Joking ,flappy is was will always be shit ,Vela i thought would have done OK if had played of a centre forward like Bendtner in a 442

I too am disappointed that when the chips were down against a team who has always sucked us up and tried to hit us on the break ,Wenger went tip tap crazy, dropped his best defender and tried to pass our way into the goal the takes off Podolski !

Much as I try to avoid Wenger's interviews nowadays, the man really is becoming an embarrassing laughing stock. He even blames Ox for Chelsea's first goal rather than acknowledging that bad organisation at the set-piece and Kos being out-muscled by Torres (not to mention a third-rate and indecisive goal-keeper he still thinks is good enough) were to blame.  Yeah, right, of course if Diaby had still been on the field that goal wouldn't have been conceded, because he's renowned for winning important defensive headers in and around our box, isn't he? :banghead: :banghead:

Just read the interview myself and he's surely taking the piss? The bloke injures himself taking a shot and yet ODL seems to think he's the second coming.

If Wenger believes that Diaby is the answers to our woes then it is staggering. The part where he states Diaby would've won the header is comical - anyone remember this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmUsSr5BGKA

Staggering comments from Lord Venger.

Yeah me too, he / they just make me even more angry...actually broke the last TV and that was when I threw a bottle at it...the *word censored* was trying to explain why he wasn't buying anyone in the transfer window - 2 seasons ago...there was still beer in the bottle which made it all the more depressing...

The substitutions really are becoming offensive now. Last night it was exactly on 70 minutes.

I would love him to explain one day why he so rigidly keeps to this predictable plan

Why should he have to explain anything to the great unwashed who haven't worked half-a-day in football? :banghead:
