I wouldnt make eye contact with anyone in any away town full stop.Revgoon89 wrote:Been through West Ham a few times, crummy little shithole where you don't make eye contact with anyone. Losing to such a bunch of twats is out of the question, providing Gervinho and Podolski stay on form.
Agreed - its the working men's club or the earl of Wakefield for meSPARKSY wrote: Stop panicking mate. If you're not wearing colours go in any pub and have a beer. No ones gonna have a pop at you
Its against mugs like this that I'll defend Wenger to the hilt. Who are nobodies like this fat fuck and pulis to swipe at a man who has won more trophies then the number of passes these dinosaur's teams can string together in a match?OneBardGooner wrote:http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog ... gs-weekend
Koscielny out, Mertesacker in
"Laurent Koscielny's rather inept display against Chelsea last week did contain at least one positive note for Arsène Wenger, as it solved any selection headache he might have had over who to play alongside Thomas Vermaelen in Saturday's game at Upton Park. If Koscielny can be pushed around by Fernando Torres, hardly the most physical of strikers, then he has little chance against either Carlton Cole or, more likely, Andy Carroll. And so Per Mertesacker should regain his place. But Arsenal close the door on one selection problem only to open another. With Abou Diaby out injured, again, there is a space in the middle that could be filled either by Aaron Ramsey or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The latter is still learning, the former is still regressing. And then there is the question of Gervinho. The Ivory Coast international often looks like an embarrassed teenager on an early sexual encounter; he's scoring, yet most of his time is spent fumbling around without really knowing what to do. But who could come in ahead of him? Olivier Giroud, who has been poor so far? Or the ever inconsistent Theo Walcott? Either way, there is plenty for Wenger to ponder. "
Continued tension between Allardyce and Wenger
Just how does Sam Allardyce release all that anger at Real Madrid's continued, exasperating refusal to make him their manager? Well, he usually has a pop at Wenger. Here are a few choice samples:
August 2010: "I have to remind Arsène that his team, which used to win the league, was the dirtiest in the league. If you cast your mind back to when they were winning the league, they had more sendings-off and bookings than anyone else."
September 2010: "Arsène has most of the media in his pocket now and is almost – almost – affecting the officials so that you can't tackle an Arsenal player."
April 2011: "I don't know him well enough to like him or dislike him, but I think his own self-importance takes him into an area where he can become rude with what he does, in terms of ignoring you and ignoring what you do. For instance, he's not shaken my hand in the past and walked straight down the tunnel because he's frustrated with one thing or another."
For fans of petty squabbles everywhere, let's hope Wenger does something to annoy Allardyce – perhaps forget to offer him a Polo mint on the sidelines, for instance – when Arsenal play West Ham this weekend."
I know he would get banned for 3 months from the touchline etc...but I would LOVE Wenker to just kick that fat *word censored* sweaty *word censored* gimpo allardyce in the nuts...![]()

Get all that and we need to ''man up'' tomorrow. However I am sick and tired of ''get in their faces'' apologists...think Diaby,Eduardo, Ramsey and so it goes on. Shawcross in England squad etc etc . Fire with fire, yes of course...get as many feet in,but fairly,as the rest. If I was chancellor cheery, the cheeriest cheery man in cheery land i'd cheeriely chant chubby Sam's name in cuddly compliance.....then kick the c@@@ in the bollocks!SteveO 35 wrote:Lets get one thing straight - Sam Allardyce is one of the biggest *word censored* in football. Any slight ounce of respect I may have had for his achievements disappeared when he came out with all that "if I was called Sam Allar-dici" bollocks, lining himself up as the next England manager on the back of taking Bolton into the top 8.
However, isn't it funny how its only Wenger that seems to fall out with the likes of him, Hughes, Phil Brown and Pulis and let the grudge fester for seasons on end ? Whilst Sir Rednose and Moaninho might be sore losers of the highest order they normally aim their barbed comments in the direction of the officials. I can't recall them ever asking for more protection for their players or making comments about 'anti-football' etc. In doing this, Wenger sets up these away games on a plate for the home team. Allardyce has frequently revealed how he likes to get under Wenger's skin and he was at it again in his comments in the Evening Standard tonight (not disrespectful by saying that he has a method of playing against Arsenal)
If we turn up with the wrong attitude for this one we are going to leave with our tails between our legs because their confidence is high, and that fat walrus faced twat will have them pumped and ready to blitz us early doors. When he was at Blackburn he admitted that he knew Fabianski was a weak link (no fucking shit) and they beat us by sticking Samba on him at set plays and watching the flap that followed. I expect Carroll will waste no time roughing up Mannone tomorrow
Stevie Bould needs to get into the heads of these players how physical its going to be. I expect Noble will give Cazorla a good kicking too
It seems it would be the only "surprise" possible due to everyone else just coming back to full training/very little game time such as Frimmy.SteveO 35 wrote:Now I've had a fucking shit week.....don't get my hopes up.
