Sounds like we're unlucky to be behind?
We started v brightly but first chance they had they scored. Took our foot off the gas but back with a high tempo now.

They haven't played well, this game really is there for the taking. They're obviously a threat off set pieces and any team is dangerous if you give them as much time as we did for the first goal but apart from that they've let us play quite a bit, bit more quality with the final ball or an incisive pass and there's goals here for us.

Nice to see how much that goal meant to Giroud, love how him and Podolski's celebrations are just them going mental.

I think we may have to score 2 in 2nd half if we are going to win this.

Their goal was far too easy, Ramsey needed to put a stronger foot in, apart from that chance for Nolan they haven't had much else. Keep playing our game and we'll get more I'm sure. 8-1 for Giroud to score next is good odds, he looked like he really wanted it before he scored and now he has I think this will be the first of many!

When are we going to sort out these set pieces, I close my eyes when we give away a fee-kick/corner nowadays. Its been going on for years now, just need to tell them when the ball comes into the box, jump up and head it out of the box. Very simple really.

I think this second half will have plenty of goals in. COME ON YOU YELLOWS!! :barscarf:

Sometimes football baffles the shit out of a man...........we were absolutely battering them and then they score from their 1st chance and then they take over the game  If we had of gone in losing at ht then it would have been a travesty but fair play the lads battled well and got a deserved goal :barscarf: Clearly it took the banning of baba to get giroud off and running in the goalscoring chart

Pound for pound I dont think we have made a better signing in recent years than arteta - cazorla and podolski might have taken the plaudits this season but for me arteta has been our star player 8)

Was just going to post about arteta, he's quality. Tackling, passing pressing he does it all.

Shits all over song!

Fast becoming my favourite player. Gets on with his job with no thrills, and we look a poorer team without him in it.

It would be nice if in the second half we could win at least one defensive header.

In fairness we've been doing ok at winning the second ball but it really is heart in mouth stuff
