RT: @Iandennisbbc Ref. Howard Webb reviewed the Robin Van Persie incident and didn't consider it to be act of violent conduct. #bbcfootball
Fucking scandalous. How do they keep getting away with it?

Re: weekend games
No, I don't think he regrets it as such. I mean, he is a Barca boy and has returned to "his" club and at the time of their almost total dominance with their own "golden generation", so no I doubt he regrets it. More that it will take a bit of getting used to not being the big star or first choice every game anymore.kite wrote:Do you really think he regrets his move? He had a bad game yesterday but he won the game against Sevilla for Barcelona just as an example. I think he is expected to replace Xavi (though they also have Thiago) at some point.. even the master can't play foreverDB10GOONER wrote:Cesc really has turned into the classic BarcaWhore - whining, diving, complaining about everyfuckingthing to the ref and then the big sulk on the bench after being subbed. He was proper shite last night and as augie said lucky to be left on as long as he was. I get the feeling Cesc might have discovered the old "grass ain't always greener" idiom GG used to offer up about life post-Arsenal. Cesc has gone from being the big fish in a decent sized pond to a very small fish in a big pond. He was a superstar at Arsenal, now he is just another cog in the Whore machine - and not even a vital cog.
I also think Cesc has been found out a bit. Don't get me wrong, he is a top top class footballer, and set the PL alight, but when mixed in with Messi, Xavi, Iniesta etc he is just not at THAT level.

LOL...I thought the same thing when I saw the team-sheet.augie wrote:On a funny (and when I say funny I mean absolutely hilarious) side issue, it looks bad for Alex song when he couldn't even get a game at centre half last night when they hadn't got any fit centre halvesBarca played adriano at centre back last night even though he had never played a game at centre back before in his life - doesn't this make a mockery of the fact that they bought song cos he could play centre half as well as midfield ?

If nothing else it means we will have the joy of watching Meltedcheeseface sitting in his land rover pontificating on about what a triffic bloke monkeyface is and how he comes from a triffic family and how the scum have Meltedcheeseface to thank for every single good thing that has ever happened to them ever.LewisT92 wrote:

Re: weekend games
Out of interest how does he get away without a yellow? Other than the fact that he's Gareth Bale? Suarez is (rightly) castigated but Bale is every bit as bad. Pires was a player who has a legacy on the back of a few incidents, most notably against Portsmouth in 2003 where 'Arry screamed blue murder and the press agreed. Gerrard and Rooney are two English players who have no shame in diving in high-profile situations, and Bale is worse than any ex-PL player in terms of how often and how badly he dives.LewisT92 wrote:

BBC report said "lucky not to be booked as he went to ground". Fucking hell, imagine if Carlos Tevez or another unpopular player would have done that. Whenever it's a popular British player it's always went to ground easily, a soft decision or minimal contact, but for others it's a shocking dive or disgusting cheating. How on Earth does this monkey-eared *word censored* conduct himself like this week in week out but still amongst the media and football fans at large maintain a pristine reputation? He should have been strung up after his dive at the Emirates last year but instead it was completely glossed over with Jamie Redknapp and his merry band of wankers refusing to slate him.

It's fucking shocking tbh. Eddie was hunted down and basically burned at the stake for one dive against the Celtic mongs (and there actually was contact, fuck yeah it was minimal - but it was there), Bobby the same because of one incident in particular and because media darling/whore Meltedcheeseface whined like a bitch. And yet Stevie Me, Grannyraper and Monkeyface do it almost week in week out and they are not divers?! WTF?

Re: weekend games
I know I shouldn't get annoyed because fuck all will change and the most frustrating thing is it is never recognised by any pundits and most retard United 'fans' still don't accept Rooney has ever dived in his career, Spurs fans would undoubtedly respond by saying Pires and Eduardo were both twice as bad and Liverpool fans would agree about certain players (e.g. Suarez) being given tougher stick before recoiling in horror when Steven Yerrard's name was mentioned. No club is perfect but there's clearly something of a culture at United looking at the shameful dives over the last two seasons from Young and Welbeck, and throughout their careers by Nani and Rooney in particular, but of course after winning penalties in successive home games at 0-0, meaning that two blatant acts of cheating could (and should) have won the title for United, criticism of Young was halted by Whisky Face saying he would have a quiet word with him.DB10GOONER wrote:Post of the week, mate.northbank123 wrote:Out of interest how does he get away without a yellow? It's fucking embarrassing what Bale in particular gets away with, both on the pitch and from commentators. Aside from the diving he's a whingeing *word censored* who's in the ref's face every game without fail. I want to print out thousands of freeze-frames of this dive and go and show it to every single Spurs fan or pundit who undoubtedly said fuck all about Bale whilst getting on their high horse about the players' conduct in the Madrid-Barca game. And then fucking ram the paper down their throats until they're shitting out Bale's dive.
