As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
When Diaby plays well, he is such an influential player. The game against Liverpool this season is proof of that, he can take people on, pick out a pass and really run the midfield.
Sadly that happens about as often as I have sex. Every other time his attitude is appalling, he runs around like a headless chicken, gives the ball away like he's giving sweets to starving kids and is more likely to help us lose a game than anything else.
and hearing Wenger bang on about how wonderful he is just adds to the anger, it's like Stephaine Meyer swooning over Bella Swan.
Do you think that players Like Diaby should leave the Prem League because it is so physical. Giroud stated that the french league is way less physical. Would that not be a better solution for a quality player who keeps breaking down.
Mind you he got his last injury from taking a shot !!!!!!

I don't think so, when you're as fucked as his body is you're simply fucked. A league being "physical" to me suggests there are a few more minor bumps and bruises, completely different to some fucking nobody coming in and snapping your ankle out of frustration at how shit him and his team are with no repercussions. I don't think Michael Owen or any other player who finds it impossible to stay fit for more than a month at a time would do so at any other European league, the irretrievable damage is already done.
A nice unbeaten start to the season, performances to be proud of against Liverpool and City. Chelsea come to town - its looking good for 17 minutes until the Great Abou goes off. 3 minutes later Torres scores and the rest is history
Arsenal FC - unbeaten for a season and a half when Abou Diaby's been on the field. You need to go back to March 2011 when Wenger decided to blow the FA Cup again at Old Trafford (seeing as Denilson played that day I can forgive poor old Abou)
We need this guy back desperately
Three things I'm looking forward to this season - the League Cup next round, the start of the FA Cup and the return of the Imperious Abou

Its clear to me that with his nineteen month unbeaten record poor Abou was born in the wrong era - should have been part of the Invincibles
Let me think for a minute - would I prefer to see a midfield masterclass from the twinkle-toed genius like we saw at Anfield or Ramsey's 50th game in a row where he fails to make an impact?
personally i think we could do with diaby right now,hes the only midfield player we have who can stride past the oppositon like they arent there at times and who has real physical presence if all be it cos hes 20 ft tall.we should have bought YaYa toure when he left barcelona as he is the finished 'diaby' and not made of glass like our french twiglet.it pains me to see Ramsey farting about and struggling to keep his heads above water in a struggling side,he needs resting before his confindence is shot to peices, thats if it isnt already. For all his injuries the sooner he is back the better as our midfield at the moment lacks physical presence, carzola, wilshire and ramsey wouldnt have stood a chance agianst the viera/petit combination simply because of the 'power' in the size.silky skills wont always win,it quite often takes some beef and Diaby is the only one who can bring it.fingers crossed one day we might get three games in a row out of him
Really thought the beginning of the season was light at the end of the tunnel for him especially following his display at Liverpool however seems another term on the sidelines beckons.
As good a player as Diaby is/could be does the consistency that he picks up injuries mean we should get rid.
Don't think many players at other clubs with his injury record would have the chances we have given him, look at Hargreaves at United, good player on his day but couldn't stay fit so was let go.
If it was possible to sell him we should do it in january but who the fuck would buy the extra from Casualty? Be honest with the exception of SteveO who couldnt see this seasons injuries happening?

I have always had faith in his football ability, if not his ability to remain out of the injury room, but maybe we should cut our losses now? That said, we have kept faith with Rosicky and Ramsey. Diaby pisses all over those two imo. (At least he does when fit)
