I'm living over here. Some might say though that it's a holiday from The Arsenal. Fucking sums it up, doesn't it. Talking about shit like this when Arsenal are on..

Re: Canaries V the Mighty Arsenal
A game where our over reliance on Cazorla and Podolksi showed.
Neither looked at full energy.
Wenger made the right subs I thought, perhaps a bit late but what else could he do?
Giroud gets into good positions, but has yet to show consistency from them.
Would have liked to have seen Theo on today had he been fit; he would have been marked closely but had he broken through their eight man defence just the once he would have been clear as their defence was very flat.

Well beaten. Norwich worked hard and made us look very ordinary. I am really looking forward to change of direction at the club. 2014 can't come quickly enough and I worry how far behind we will be by then and how hamstrung any new manager will be by AWs crazy contracts.

It's very nice, to be fair. Very quiet and small but clean, efficient, friendly with a relaxed attitude. Luxembourg City is a mix of German and French style architecture and cuisine but with so many different nationalities here, there's a bit of everything to be found. The wines and beers are pretty decent too and you're never too far from the countryside for a day out. One big downside is the cost of living, which is very expensive, mainly because there are so many rich people here- all those bankers, traders- but most of us normal folk visit Belgium or Germany to do the big shopping as the prices are so much cheaper. If it's a quiet way of life and fairly happy people you want, then Luxembourg is great but if you want a big city and lots of attractions, then you ain't gonna get it here!the playing mantis wrote:whats that like then, heard good things about it. women are amazing too apparently?
As for the birds, yeah, there's some real lookers here. Shame I'm married, really.

I cannot put my finger on it but there is something seriously wrong within this club. A kind of acceptance of mediocrity. There are too many players in this team that are not at any sort of top level.
There is no drive, I don't get the feeling the club actually wants to truely compete. It's like an acceptance just to tick over. These kind of results against the 'small' clubs are becoming increasingly common. It's as if they are just not giving 100% and that goes from the pitch to the board and that to me is what is most unacceptable.
This is The Arsenal, anything less than 100% and you can do one!!
