with Coq on the bench again, the poor sod must be confused as to what he has to displace the woeful Ramsay.
when we had a midfield of coq, santi, arteta and ox,we had a perfect balance of hard work, pace and talent.

How many times does Ramsey have to play before Wenger realizes that not only does he suck monkey ass but he is a liability to the team

Re: Canaries V the Light-Weights Arsenal
I am of the opinion that only an absolutely shocking final position in the league will covince a) the board to bring the axe down or b) finally convince the miser to open the purse strings and sign some proper players.
option a is unlikely and option b would still mean the tactical genius in charge. I feel as bad as in the last days of GG's reign - we are just coasting along and soon to be dashed aginst the rocks & everyone bar the officers in charge can see it coming.

Didnt get home till midnight. Screwing. That was unacceptable. Arteta (our captain in everything but name) was good. Cazorla decent. Defenders individually average to OK. If you're unlucky a player can have a 'mare, one terrible performance. Today we had Mannone, Giroud, Gervinho, Podolski and Rambo all stinking the place out. The manager was criminally indecisive and let the game meander. I wanted a triple sub at HT (would have bought on every sub but Djourou if allowed to). Turns out with Ox's injury that would probably have been a mistake. It was obvious they needed shaking up. Negligent. So our manager, front three, goalie and a central midfielder were all unconscionably shite. Trains were a nightmare and I was totally wrong about the shitness of Norwich (or underrated the shitness of Arsenal). Fine for me to be complacent, arrogant for the players. Canaries were clowns in defence v Liverpool and Chelski, Bassong was immense today. Hoolahan was everywhere, so was that ex Arsenal one Bradley Johnson I think. Was interviewed in the programme. Need a big response v Schalke. Don't want us relying on Jack every week instantly but with Rambo off-form and Diaby injured its tempting to put him in.

Wenger did seem to allow the game to meander for too long. I think that's one thing that worried me in the first half - knowing that even though we didn't look up for it and half the team were stinking the place out, nothing tactically would change for the whole game (because it rarely does) and we'd have to wait until late on for personnel changes (as per usual).
The injury to Chamberlain was rotten luck though.

His time is now up, Jack will be in that team within 2 weeks and we won't have to be subjected to it ever again.
Re: Canaries V the Light-Weights Arsenal
Hugely disappointing and just not good enough. Utd,City, Chelsea tough it out, we roll over and take it up the arse. Booo!!!

Great post mate and sorry to read about the woes of the likes of you and Dan_85 that are still paying good, hard earned cash to watch Arsene's Barca-Zero imposters ramble around the country being consistently inconsistenthighburyJD wrote:Didnt get home till midnight. The only bit of the comment I would slightly disagree with is you saying that you overstated Norwich's shitness mate - you were bang on originally. This is a team who leaked 5 at home to a Liverpool side who has suffered its worst start in almost a century and didn't have a single player in their starting XI, starting for an international team in mid-week. They are still fucking shit. Its the same shit Bassong that found himself sixth choice centre half at the Lane. I hear Arsene also thinks Norwich had a good defensive performance.
Funny but didn't the Blackburn team that had conceded 38 goals away from home season before last also have a 'good defensive performance' in securing a 0-0 at the Emirates, and didn't Bruce's Sunderland with 1 point from 27 available (which ultimately cost him his job) earn that one point with a 'good defensive performance' at the bowl too? And until our one world class footballer from last season only manage to stop awayday whipping boys from last year QPR turning their 'good defensive performance' into a point at the bowl. In fact didn't that same player only earn us all 3 points at Carrow Road last season with world class finishing
FOR FUCK'S SAKE WENGER IT WAS BAD ENOUGH DAWDLING AROUND WITH THIS BORING 4-5-1 WHEN WE HAD ONE WORLD CLASS STRIKER........WITH THE FRENCH LEE CHAPMAN IT IS ABOUT AS CONVINCING AS JOHN TERRY'S APPLICATION FOR AN AMBASSADOR'S ROLE AT THE UNITED NATIONS

Re: Canaries V the Light-Weights Arsenal
In fairness, that probably was quite an advantage yesterday.... I counted at least 8 of our first team who played at least one (some played two) game while Norwich had their feet up. Not really an excuse, but playing in the CL (says he preparing the excuses for losing at home to QPR next week....) and having International players can - maybe like yesterday - detract from Premier League performance.....SteveO 35 wrote:.....didn't have a single player in their starting XI, starting for an international team in mid-week.
We only watched the first half yesterday. Had to go out but had planned to watch the 2nd half later. Didn't bother when I heard the score stayed the same. Was there anything we could cling to? Some piece of bad luck/ill fortune? Or did it go much the same way as the 1st....?
PS thought we were a little unlucky in that there was a definite foul on Giroud that was "punished" by a drop ball.... Think that lead directly to the attack from which they scored.

I think all we can cling to is that if we had a GK that was even League One standard we would have escaped with a drawMK Gould wrote:In fairness, that probably was quite an advantage yesterday.... I had to watch the 2nd half as the misfortune to be there, really disappointed, that although Wengers pre match interviewsnsated nonroom for complacency he cannot motivate them to not do exactly that!

Don't think it's much of an exaggeration to say that it was one of the worst performances I've ever seen from AFC. Norwich are one of the worst teams in the league and we didn't even nearly score against them in 90 minutes of football. It's not as though they put their bodies on the line and were brilliantly organised, they were shit and only scored because our goalkeeper is only a professional football through Jim'll Fix It/Make a Wish. It was just a truly fucking dire performance, we were reduced to waiting nearly 70 minutes again to bring on the exiled Russian and a kid.

And fuck blaming the international break. We didn't look slightly jaded, we were toothless and spineless.
