Even when Gervinho scores, Podolski doesn't seem too pleased for him, whereas he loves it when others score.

Might be imagining it though...
Yeah possibly.

Noticed Cazorla isn't a big fan of him either.

A fucking terrible excuse for a footballer. How Podolski gets hauled off every game and this joker tags on the pitch is beyond me. Fuck.

I think Wenger thinks he's pulling a stroke by getting as much out of him before he goes to African Nations and resting the Pod. It certainly aint working.

Podolski has been carrying a slight ankle injury.
His work rate has slowed in the last few games.

I think we get the best out of Gervinho the more central we play him.
Not keen on him wide right, he is marginally better wide left.

Yet he is hardly prolific in the centre either because he hasn't the instincts, positional awareness or the clinicalness of a proper centre forward/striker, despite the fact he is currently our top scorer.

Waste of space and we might aswel play with 10 men.

For all his pace he counters it himself by being clueless when it counts.

That spell of goals covered up and awful footballer, throw Ramsey into the mix and we start every game with 8 outfield players.

Think that he has replaced Walcott's role wonderfully well.

Stand stationary on the touchline, make no forward runs at all, making you easy to mark.

If you do have the ball bamboozal yourself and fall over.

When you have the opportunity to put in a cross, delay long enough for cover to get back into position.

marvellous.

Definitely one of the worst I've seen at ours.
Absolutely no composure in front of goal. All he ever does (apart from open goal tap ins) is put his laces through every chance he gets and tries to hit it as hard as possible. Occasionally one flies in and looks spectacular but 9 times in 10 it's fucking miles wide or over.

I sometimes find it hard to celebrate his goals as every tIme he scores in Wengers head it justifies playing him and means even less chance of us buying a half decent striker.

My heart sinks when I see he's in the team.

I really want to give the guy a fair shake because it seems he has gotten better but Im mostly unimpressed. his runs (or lack of), his finishing "touch", but most of all his hair!

I saw him outside my house on Sunday morning smiling away as he loaded up his Audi Q7 with bags from ICELAND (yes seriously). Ironic that he shops in the bargain basement too.

He was smiling away to himself even after that performance at Carrow Road hours earlier, who wouldn't on that cash. OUR cash!

The very short successful spells he's enjoyed (basically three games at the start of this season and last season) have been where he's got the ball and driven at players straight away.

For reasons unbeknown to me, he's decided to regress once more and stop every time he receives it now. He just doesn't have the skills in his locker to beat men from a standing start, not to mention the fact that he gives the ball away too much and has a pretty dreadful touch. Oh, and his finishing is well below par, undoubtedly cost us 2 points at City.

He's a poor man's Theo

One thing I've noticed with Forehead is his complete and utter unwillingness (incapability?) to cross the ball high in any situation. I've literally never seen him get the ball off the ground whether by passing it or crossing it. Can't believe this dud starts week in week out for us.

Gervinho is a fucking woeful crosser and embarrassingly one-dimensional for a player at this level. Slow down, stop, try to dribble through players. No crossing, no weak foot, barely any finish. Ridiculous. He slowed down our attack CONSTANTLY against Norwich by stopping and then trying to play through a team that was clearly set out to double mark him, knowing his habits so well.

Just a frustrating player to watch. I don't have any problem with him, but he is so easily shut out of games...
