Lets not dismiss what Rosicky did in the second half of last season - it wasn't just 4 or 5 games, more like 15 or so, where he was bloody brilliant. He is a far superior player to Aaron Ramsey in every way

However I do agree also with the view that he has had years of being either injured or mediocre before that and was seemingly playing for the contract. However if he comes back like he did in the second half of the season I'll welcome him back as a positive addition. If he wants to join the current Barca-Zero mob and pussy foot around with sideways pedestrian passing then we'll know those 15 games were just a push for the contract

I agree with SteveO, Rosicky was very good in the second half of last season and does deserve praise for that patch. However, I also got the feeling that he might have been playing for a contract and because there was a major international tournament coming up.

I hope I'm wrong because he's going to be an important player in our season, there is no way Cazorla is going to play every minute of every game.

He did play well at the tail end of last season but regardless of his attitude (turning his back on two free kicks) he still should have been bombed out in the summer. It really defies belief that a club that tries to enforce a strict wage cap, can offer a new deal to a guy that spends more time in with the physio's than he does on the pitch   Personally I think we should forget about him and close this thread cos we all know that if he makes a return to the team then it will again be short lived before returning to our medical centre again where he can take another few months relaxing from the pressures of being a top flight footballer :banghead:
