Tonights CL games 23/10

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

An interesting statistic for you- the entire Celtic team was put together for less money than we paid for Gervinho :rubchin:

Arsene knows

In a way it served celtic fans right last night - not long after they scored their goal the fans started the "ole" bullshit with every completed pass  I know that it was meant as jovial (cos they didnt think at that stage that they would win or draw) but I can never understand the logic of winding the opposition team up as you take the piss out of them

Did anyone watch Song last night? Dear God but how the sweet fuck did we bamboozle 16million out of the whores for him? Seriously. The other Whore players played around him for alot of it and only seemed to pass to him if it was the absolute last and only option available. Technically (and in all aspects really) he is fucking light years behind all of them.

His touch is still shit, his vision still non existent, his "passing" ( :coffeespit: hahahaha my fucking ribs hurt!) is still mostly appalling. Does the fucker hallucinate on the pitch? He seems to see teammates where there is actually no one at all! At one stage he got the ball deep in his own half, with time and space and just pinged it 50 yards through the centre of the pitch into a big old empty space in the oppo half miles from his nearest teammate - looked like the ball had AIDS-contaminated shit on it and he was trying to get it away from himself pronto. Xavi just stared at him open mouthed.

Alex Song is a genius, I wish I had his talent....talent to get money for something I am useless at. I think at one point last night Iniesta had only one option , a square 10 yard pass to Song , he didn't take it opting to take a more difficult route with the ball. Song and Gervinho have it sewn up. We sit at our keyboards slaughtering them, they sit at their keyboards checking their bank-balances.
I said about the Squid after the 4-4 at Newcastle, that he didn't buy himself, pay himself or pick himself. Wenger did and it's his fault. Same about the two geniuses that are Song and Gervinho.
