Time to Stand Up? AGM and fan discontent

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Agree what we will hear of today will be pure spin & bs Kroenke will behind the scenes be thanking OGL & IG for again turning a profit.Last night would be a time filler for him his business here is sunday & the NFL at wembley.

Anyone left still actually think the money we have to strengthen the team is anything but money held for failure to qualify for CL football?

Went to my first game in 83' ex-season ticket holder since we moved have been going less & less and in truth it's been more about catching up with old gooner mates.It's stale on the pitch it reflects what's going on in the boardroom.

Anyway good to finally say hello to everyone on here!
Welcome aboard mate. Nail on the head with the money in the bank - its almost a contingent fund sitting there for the almost inevitable failure to qualify for the CL.

Amazing I remember when we scraped home on the final day of 2005/06 and Lord Wenger declared that we would never again be in that situation. Funny but I seem to recall the final day of last season that we went to WBA where only a Mannone type performance from their keeper kept us in the competition for another year. A dodgy lasagne and even more dodgy oppo keepers will not always be on hand to bail us out.

Its the beginning of the end for this chapter in the club's history. Sadly Wenger will get a contract extension next Summer so its the beginning of the end of a LONG chapter, but I have no doubt in a few years that the club will rise once more under a new owner and manager.

Never had any account on here before mate.

Anyway the club could really do with some younger blood in the boardroom it does seem other than the pie in the sky theory that FFP will save us spun to keep some gullable fans onside what we are seeing is the quality of the squad eroding season by season.

OGL & IG will no doubt throw out the old line about we can't compete with the Citeh's & Chav's of this world :blah: but look at our wage bill £130m+ and totally lacking in quality. :banghead:

@DarrenArsenal1: Looks like less than 150 shareholders here, 75 AST holders, and 30+ press.

@DarrenArsenal1: Less than 500 shareholders left now, each month grows less

@DarrenArsenal1: It starts...

@SheWore Looks sparse attendance from last year... Lots of empty seats. Are you City in disguise.
