Time to Stand Up? AGM and fan discontent
Re: Time to Stand Up? AGM Thursday 25th October, 11am
No guarantee that dividends won't be paid. That's pretty big news right there i'd say...
Re: Time to Stand Up? AGM Thursday 25th October, 11am
@DarrenArsenal1: Gazidis "we have a strong commercial group, underpinned by tours last 2 summers to asia"
Re: Time to Stand Up? AGM Thursday 25th October, 11am
@10akhil: But it does not happen over night. The commercial team was very small but has grown and overseas tours show club are serious about growing
Re: Time to Stand Up? AGM Thursday 25th October, 11am
@DarrenArsenal1: Gazidis "we are very attractive to commercial partners"
@10akhil: Ivan thinks the club consistency will attract companies to strike deals with us. #afcagm

@TimPayton: AST is totally against dividends being paid and money taken out of club. It is of great concern to hear Kroenke clearly intends to do that

@johncrossmirror: #afc Gazidis offers relationship advice. 'Partners look for consistency in a relationship.' Oops, sorry, he meant commercial partners.
Re: Time to Stand Up? AGM Thursday 25th October, 11am
@SheWore: General questions later.
Re: Time to Stand Up? AGM Thursday 25th October, 11am
@10akhil: Formal stuff. Resolutions etc etc. Hill-wood stumbling a bit though. Bit unfair to make him do this tbh. #afcagm

BBC Sport's David Ornstein at Arsenal's AGM with more from the club's chief executive Ivan Gazidis, on Financial Fair Play:
"The landscape is moving in our direction [with FFP]. In the next two years Arsenal will have the financial resources to sit and compete among the leading clubs in world. I want to be clear: our financial success is relevant because it supports our football ambition."
What a complete and utter thundercunt.

@SheWore: Chips Keswick 6 against about 6 for - re election.
Re: Time to Stand Up? AGM Thursday 25th October, 11am
@SheWore: Revolt at the re elections...
Re: Time to Stand Up? AGM Thursday 25th October, 11am
@DarrenArsenal1: All votes for board memebes re-elected about 6 votes against, Gazidis receiving most against (PHW commenting "same lot")
Re: Time to Stand Up? AGM Thursday 25th October, 11am
@SheWore: 'Same lot' of shareholders. Phw. Complete disrespect for those who voted against. Awful.
Re: Time to Stand Up? AGM Thursday 25th October, 11am
@johncrossmirror: Gazidis also up for re election. There were quite a few hands against. Hill-Wood says 'same lot' suggesting usual faces disagree.
