Reg, I still haven't signed up to the full BSM membership yet, partly because the card isn't in great shape
Anyway, I'm over for the NLD, is there any way I could meet and sign up in person that weekend. After the game would probably suit me better.

Cheers.

I'll see what can be arranged. PM me nearer the time. For some reason I find myself quite busy on NLD day vistig many pubs

Do we have to wait that long?
How about capitalising on your publicity this Saturday at home v QPR. Saturday afternoon will see many more able to attend than a Thursday morning. I fear a few decent results and the interest that you have achieved will be lost.
pubs will be leafleted tomorrow, looking for some volunteers for handing out if you're intersted.
Good to meet you Thursday mate.

If you want any help with leaflets, give me a shout. I'll be around the Pins if that's any help to you.

Good to see the Coverage - i think all the backpages ran with the 'shareholders dissent' and John Cross mentioned the BSM in his piece.

one question for Reg - is there any plans for a protest at Wembley on Sunday ? - Stan will be there with his family. Their team the Rams, are playing the Patriots.

perhaps leaflets and the banner outside the directors entrance ?

either that, or US TV (in this case CBS) always has an announcers booth outside the grounds among the fans - where they do the 2-3 hour pre-show live. that would be a great opportunity to get some exposure, as it's something you'd never see outside of English grounds and they generally don't have any security present.

The leaflet was aimed at Gazidis? Is that right?

Couple of things I don't get.Not really about what the BSM got down with but just more in general.

Arsenal have been rotting away since a fair while before Gazidis was appointed Chief Exec and before Kroenke had more than a handful of shares. It has been club policy for a long time to do a lot of the things the pair of them are getting all the stick for. Its not like we were bubbling along nicely before either became a prominent figure at the club and they have taken us down a few notches. We were on our way down and yes they haven't exactly assisted in arresting the slide but then neither has almost anyone else.

So Kroenke sells up, Gazidis is booted. What changes?

I don't know about that.

I don't swear as much as I used to. I don't get into as many arguments as before and I don't come on here drunk anymore.

I'm your all round average bland poster.

Gotta agree with No. 5
I agree with the sentiments of the BSM, their protest at the AGM and their on-going dissatisfaction with the way the club is being run.
But things will only change on the pitch when Wenger goes.

"Kick greed out of football" is not Arsenal specific and is a statement that everyone agrees with. Gazidis could even use that very slogan and say "Kick greed out of football with FFP"
Things will only change on the pitch when Wenger goes.

I am just a fan and I dont get it when I read on here stuff like "front ended revenue streams", "commercial income", "revenue hits" I wonder what to fuck is going on? I dont know or want to know what to fuck this kind of shit is all about. But I do know if it looks like shit, smells like shit and tastes like shit then its probably gonna be shit. So when I see players like Arseshavin, Park, Chamack, Squillachi, Bendtner for example, draining our resources, then I understand........

I understand that its down to Wenger who signed these guys, over-paid them, convinced them they were "the future" persisted with them loooong after he should have so now we cant get rid of them. I understand that all right. And while the BSM and the fans anger at Arsenals obscene greed, I know that only after Wenger goes can we begin the healing process and begin to move forward as a united club. I understand that Wenger does just enough and no more when he should be going flat out to give us success on the pitch. On the pitch- not the balance sheet.

So I believe that things will only change on the pitch when Wenger goes.
And thats what we all want right? Chaange onthe pitch....

I want our crest back and our yellow away kit first.

Wenger may be past it, but the club won't change until the board goes.

it still amazes me that this useless, lazy, overpampered out-of touch board have the full confidence of the WOB to pick a better manager than AW.

i have zero faith in the board to do that.

I want to see Kroenke forced out and bought out by Usamanov and David Dein and his "lucky pen" brought back in.

Just a quick one then champ.

How long exactly has Kroenke had full and over riding control over all things Arsenal? I'm not a city wizz kid with know how about shares and that but 2011 right?

How long has Gazidis been the CEO? 2009 right?

When did Arsenal decide to break up the invincibles and embark on this youth project? 2005 Right?

Something missing in your logic bud.

Well done to all those involved with the BSM, great to see you finally getting the recognition as a pressure group who are prepared to actually challenge the club instead of towing the corporate line like most of the other supporters group, hopefully the momentum will gather pace and the 'snowball effect' will come in to play.

Seriously tho, great to see like minded people putting themselves to great use, instead of being all mouth and no action like most(myself included) and not getting involved more, just goes to show what a bit of hard work can do.

Keep fighting ,dont let the bastards drag ya down!

When you have overall control of an organisation and you change nothing you become entirely accountable for those policies even if you didn't make them up. Wenger is also culpable of course, which is the point I guess you're trying to make.

I agree with Number 5 that the self styled custodians started the rot. The slogan sounds ambiguous but lots of respect due to BSM for putting a voice out there so professionally.

I like the the following slogan for no other reason than I wrote it

"Arsenal; appreciating shares not fans since 2005"
