Giroud was hopeless, Podolski lacked spark and we generally didn't create anything until they foolishly starting sitting back. As for Ramsey, a lot of the time I feel the vociferous nature of the criticism on here directed at him is excessive, but today (notwithstanding previous injuries and playing out of position) he was absolutely dreadful, plain and simple. And the less said about that fatboy at left-back the better.

Still, 3 points for AFC which always makes my Saturday.
Normally I'd agree mate, but why do I still feel somewhat frustrated and angry?...maybe cos I know this will continue in one form or another till we get shot of the shyte players and the tacticless manager.

I would like to see Arseshavin as far away from Arsenal as possible. I think he deserves a good kick in the bollox.

I dont have alot of time for arshavin but if he kept ramsey and the forehead out of the team id play him.

why would a 'Class' player like Carzola suddenly start playing like an inept version of ramsey?...why would ramsey whpo had had one or two good games revert to norm?.....why? Oh1 The Fuck why??? would Pods - after a very promising start suddenly turn into utter fucking Gash!????

one word/name??????
Wenger has a track record of turning class players into averageness - AA23 is another good example of a class player being ruined.

Arshavin was forced to play out of position from day one in Wengers effort to cram as many attacking midfielders into the team. Whilst AA23 has to accept part of the blame the buck stops with the manager. He needs a kick up the backside maybe, but no more than that.

Arshavin has one of the best football brains in the squad and he hasn't been put to good use.

We have a manager who in the past and even today (Ramsey :cussing: ) plays players out of position. But for some reason he chose Santos ahead of playing Jenkinson or Sagna at left back presumably coz he would be playing them out of position. Santos for me is not a left back and is more of a winger and today at the end we were lucky to hang on to the win in spite of his shiteness. Can't see him getting away with it at The Theatre of Wankers.

Anyway delighted with the 3 points. Worried by the performance.

I'd actually prefer to see Arshavin play over Gervinho.....

Anyway 3 points giving us a massive boost for when we travel to Old Trafford and easily win with Giroud completely outshining Van the :censored: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Glad that's over...naturally we gave QPR a chance or three at the end. In reality they should have scored twice in injury time, good save by Mannone although hit at him. I can understand the players chasing the QPR player not making a tackle once he went in the box, Slightest touch and it was a penalty.
Mannone apart from that didn't convince, Sagna had a good game, central defence just don't seem comfortable with themselves . Santos improved on Wednesday  but that is nothing to get excited about. Jack was outstanding but I wonder was that/will that be at the expense of Cazorla. Arteta was ok, and the rest were up o their usual standard. Theo was poor when he came on, Gervinho was himself..enough said  .
Sending off was deserved despite Matt Le Tissier saying Vermaelen was theatrical. Their keeper made three excellent saves , and I thought Arteta was offside for our goal. Fuck it I don't care ,anything that upsets Hughes is fine by me.
Overall I think we just about deserved it , but as always had to throw in the scares at the end.

IMO the lazy Russian can only be played in home games against teams that offer nothing going forward but sit back and defend. It would suit him not having to track back and to be fair to him he is a tricky little fucker.

We won because Gervinho went off injured :barscarf: and Arshavin came on.Arshavin did more than Feo and Forehead when he came on.Great cross for the goal

How can that be a massive boost? We have played poorly and we should put QPR to the sword at home.

The Mancs might give us chances because they will take the game to us but we will need to move the ball quicker and take our chances.

I'm a fan of Arshavin, I still maintain that his close control is some of the best you'll see. That said, he really lets himself down on effort & application. :(
