Reading in the "whatever its called this year cup"

Oops, media echo chamber,
sorry sir copied that wrong fact from somebody elses homework
He's still a) a prick and b) an irrelevance

Ultimately SilentStan is the owner, the rest operate under his instructions

This is one of the few games I'm looking forward to because it means more to me than all of those boring group games in the cup we crave to qualify for but haven't bothered seriously trying to win since 2006 and every single PL game since Chelsea put out our title hopes for another year not long after Summer finished

I just can't get excited by competitions that the club has no chance of winning - makes us look like a non-league team that get excited about reaching the 1st round proper of the FA Cup i.e. lets have a nice day out knowing that we've got fuck all chance of winning the competition

If we get knocked out of this one then I shall be looking forward to 5th January when the FA Cup 3rd round takes place

I used to struggle to get even slightly bothered about this cup a few years ago mate, honestly, because it genuinely was a distraction from the pursuit of winning trophies. Now, its by far and away the best chance, and in my sad little quaint old world, I'd still rather be celebrating seeing an Arsenal captain lift a piece of silverware then knocking one out at St James Park in May when we've scraped home in the virtual cup on goal difference

Have a nasty feeling our over-cocky reserves/youths will get beaten 2-1 here. Also have a nasty feeling that I'll ultimately just think "meh" when it happens... :|

I think the reserves will put in more effort and give far more than the pampered pussies who parade around as the first team and pretend to be 'Professional Footballers'.....at least they haven't been completely corrupted yet, and though I do think this will be be a tough ask for them if Reading play their first team - I think they will play for the 'shirt', so fr that alone i am hoping we win.

Agree, but would it be to no avail? Just to reach the final and our first team to be beaten by a relegated PL team,,,,,again. :banghead: :banghead:

Just been confirmed that Giroud will be the only starter from the weekend in the squad for tonight's match. Surely that means he wont be starting on Sat?

Dont know, he's physically fit enough to play twice a week. Maybe Wenger's trying to get him to bag a few goals to get him in form for Manure?

Arshavin will start according to SSN. So happy to her that Jack wont play. Don't want to over use him and we need him for Saturday, I'm sure he has a few things he'd like to "discuss" with Judas 8)
