I wonder whether Clattenburg will also keep up the same defence for a 12 month period insisting that he didn't call Mikel a monkey, but was simply restating what he thought he'd heard Mikel accuse him of saying first

Unless Clattenburg has really come out with a load of racist abuse then I agree wholeheartedly. One of the rumours around the after match fracas - in the refs changing room - is that a certain chavscum fullback said he was going to "'break clattenburgs legs" for giving the game to manure...

also to add to this - the papers are reporting today that this is what went down. make your own judgment...

mark clattenburg has filed an "extraordinary incident report" which is classified as an incident that tkes place but does not fall under the referee's jurisdiction but should be dealt with by the FA.

clattenburg was apparently confronted in the referee's dressing room by chelsea's chief exec Ron Gourlay, manager Roberto Di Matteo, assistant manager Eddie Newton and John Obi Mikel

they stormed the dressing room "demanding a response" from clattenburg and accused him of insulting two of their players. clattenburg refused.

Mikel was seen and heard screaming at clattenburg, banging and shouting was also heard in the dressing room before security staff rushed into the room to come between the parties

they were followed into the area by - OF ALL F***ING PEOPLE - JOHN TERRY, who raced 15 yards from the other end of the tunnel (probably in full chelsea kit) to join in

the door was then closed and the shouting and screaming continued for "several minutes". during this time someone was heard shouting "i'll break your f**king legs" in the referee's dressing room (hopefully it was clattenburg who said it)

then the delegation left leaving only di matteo in the office who stayed there for a further 10 minutes, then left

steven howard also makes the point that the chavs have history with this sort of shit - john terry tried getting graham poll in shit a few years back after he sent him off for 2 yellows at the shithole, saying that poll had "changed his reasons" for sending him off and that stupid little prick bumlick wanker cashley said that poll had said the referee "wanted to teach chelsea a lesson and if they didn't calm down, he would".

of course they later withdrew the allegations

cashley is one of the worst offenders i've ever seen for giving refs shit. every time a decision is given against chelsea, even if it wasn't him who committed the foul, he's in the ref's ear swearing. remember him turning his back to poll at white hart lane, pulling his shirt back and saying "just take the f**king number"? wanker

i give these allegations 3 weeks before they are withdrawn. nowadays they are almost rivalling liverpool in terms of the "victims" tag

I know things can get very heated, but he seems far too much of a Pro to let such a thing happen, looks to me like the chavs are trying to exact some kind of revenge by slurring his name.

I must admit that this was my first thought.

I can't believe this is true either but I have been involved in a game where a southern league ref called a player all the cuntz under the sun and the same ref was well known throwing insults around to players he doesn't like (yet he neve swore at me and I am one of the worst offenders when it comes to moaning at refs, not swearing at them mind) so who knows......sounds like the chavs being their usual cuntiness selves when beaten

This is all hypocritical shite anyway, PL players get away with blue murder when it come to swearing at the ref (see what i did there ), they should start dishing out more punishment for blatant abuse directed at the officials.

Simply cannot believe he racially abused players. To be honest he doesn't even seem one of the most arrogant jumped-up out of the refs, I can't believe he would racially abuse them, particularly knowing 3 other officials would hear every word. It beggars belief.

Now he might have told the players to "fuck off" or whatever, for me that's fine depending on the circumstances. If a player is genuinely trying to talk to the ref and he blindly tells them to fuck off then that's not on, but if twats like Ashley Cole are f-ing and blinding in his face and shouting and screaming then I have no problem with him telling them to shut up or get the fuck on with the game.

Unless the allegations are withdrawn this will tarnish Twattenburg's reputation forever, regardless of whether or not they're groundless. A very poor officiating performance but the kind that happens every other week in the PL, although of course because it's Chelsea it must be a conspiracy again. The whole club is a fucking disgrace, not one decent person involved. From the scum like Terry, Cole, Ivanovic, Torres etc etc etc on the pitch to that spineless peanut Di Matteo right up to that corrupt wanker Abramovich, there is no class whatsoever there.
