Many of the BSM's initiatives I don't actually agree with, such as moving away fans to the upper tier... I also don't trust Usmanov's intentions.

That said, recent years of underachieving on the pitch and my dissatisfaction at Kroenke, Gazidis and PHW have led to me taking an interest in BSM and I will be supporting the walk before the Swans game.

Interesting that sone fans who want Wenger out seem to fail to realise that for that to happen those above him would have to go first, as there is no way the board will out him what the club is generating profits and still remaining relatively competitive.

Cannot 100% agree with that - yes it is one of the possibilities but in my opinion the board will not throw him un der the wheels of the bus unless they come under serious serious pressue and tbh that isnt get to that stage overnight :( However, ever the optimist that I am ( ), I really believe that if/when wenger feels that he no longer has the support of The Arsenal fans then he will walk. Maybe that is naive on my part but I feel that he has been in a position to disrespect many fans purely cos he felt confident that he had the majority of fans on his side and if they changed then I cant see him being as cocky. We all remember his rage at being criticised for signing silvestre at an agm a few years ago so I believe that if we had a few more matches where fans are singing to him that he "doesnt know what he is doing" like he endured last season, then I can see him throwing his dummy out of the pram and walking away........when that day comes I think that I will drink my first ever beer

I personally believe that Wenger thinks he's the best man for the job still. He's bought into this myth he's created around himself that we are essentially prevented from winning the title by the wealth of others. People are a bit quick to forget he has worked at the club every day for the last 16 years and to be fair he showed loyalty at a time in the early to mid-2000s when he could have had any job in world football (notably Madrid). I don't think he fucks off the fans for sport or intentionally restricts the club from performing on purpose, I'm sure it makes sense to him. I think he'll walk away if and when he finally gets it into his head that he doesn't have the support of the fanbase and that he's doing a substandard job.

one day AW will be gone, and we'll still be going.

before that day (bearing in mind the board is 100% behind AW) i want my crest back, i want to see us play in traditional colours, and i want to stand with my mates again until i'm too old to.

We should thank Reg and the BSM for actually listening to us - I don't see the AISA or Red Action doing that, does anyone else ?

if the Arsenal fans can't even get behind the basics, what hope is there for us ?

Absolutely 100% agree with these issue's and tbh they would be the two non management issue's at the top of my wish list - I cringe when I think about the club changing the crest for money and I am totally embarrassed by my club taking a spanish hat seller to court over the use of her name  A club that used to be known for it's class is now a money grabbing disgrace and is not the club I grew up with :cussing:
On the traditional colours issue I also agree that the two main colours should be red for home and yellow for away however I do feel that we need some level of flexibility - the shirt sponsorship deals are one way that I do expect the club to negotiate as big a deal as is possible and if we restrict the shirt makers to just two colours then it will reduce their options for sales which in turn will reduce our market value. For this reason I would accept a 3rd shirt in a different colour or changing the away colours once every 4 years or so as long as we are not fed a line of bullshit about how the choice of colours is related to some tiny detail from our distant distant past

If we were to flatly insist that every away kit had to be yellow, even with the option/necessity of a different coloured 3rd kit, it would considerably reduce any sponsorship we might reduce. BUT we haven't had a proper yellow and blue kit in nearly a decade. It's a fucking joke. For me absolute minimum is that every other away kit is yellow and blue, and this is then retained for the next season. Also completely agree about being fed constant bullshit like Purple Reign and Herbert Chapman and various other spin to justify outrageous kits. How about a proper fucking tribute to Herbert Chapman by having more class than any other club and striving to be the best instead of selling out and still settling to be 4th best?

What about the 2009 20th Anfield anniversary Yellow & Blue version?

I'm sure Adidas will be falling over themselves to bring out yellow & blue as the first away kit after the change, if their PR dept have any sense, before swiftly switching back to white / blue / purple or whatever next time around.

If I thought that only one of the BSM's objectives from this walk was to be successful i.e. the removing of that arrogant, old, shit-for-brains cretin Hill Wood from the board, I'd walk there naked with some fairy lights tied around my tadger

I know we need a change but just Wenger resigning is imo not going to change a thing with regard to buying TOP players and paying them a kings ransom.........the board and owner will be the same and they are not going to suddenly start spending a bucketload of cash when a new manager comes in.

The new manager will be told in no uncertain terms that he is to continue the frugal approach with regard to buying players etc.

Now if a certain USmartin was around I am sure he could convey this better than I in a brief 400 page snippet

Good luck an all with the march but I can't see it achieving much apart from PHW remarking "oh dear look at all those those pitiful peasants, they can't even afford to buy arsenal scarves.......if the window here could open I would heat up some coins, throw them down and watch them fight over it.

Wouldn't everyone boycotting games be a greater statement :rubchin:

I actually think Wenger leaving would be a very important step in the overall process. At the moment confusion reigns, are the club holding Wenger back or is he a manager who doesn't like spending large amounts of money even if it is available to him (the board are saying there is more money to spend, and the accounts prove it)? People are arguing both sides and no one outside the club knows the truth.

If Wenger goes and the next manager doesn't spend, then there can be no doubt that the cash is being withheld. At that point, hopefully the fans will turn on the board big time and I'd like to think a new era will move closer. If more cash is spent and it is spent better then we will know that Wenger was the biggest issue.

Any Wenger out stance weakens the issue. It becomes a pure football protest then.
This is about marching against the people who are robbing us blind.
