Abou Diaby - Injuries Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

markyp, you are free to join the Abou fan club any day mate ! Seems that we have more people on here that would prefer to see Ramsey sideways passing for 70 mins (before inevitably being subbed) or the self appointed hardman Frimpong (who gets forgiven a similar injury record because he charges around like a headless chicken).

If Ramsey or Frimpong ever run a game from start to finish...and I mean a real game somehere like Anfield and not at Underhill for the reserves....I'll eat my hat

Abou Diaby - unbeaten since March 2011 and the possible saviour to our season

We miss you Abou :(

Sorry to say it but time to get rid of Diaby. More injury prone than VanJudas at his worst. Diaby has serious ability but what's the fucking point in that if you are never fit to play? One great game followed by 3 months out is not a contribution. :|

If we get rid of Abou, that tiny little glowing light at the end of the tunnel really will be shut out by the darkness

Poor Abou - born too late. Should have been an Invincible. Unbeaten for 19 months

is this a vanity thread for your love of abou steveo? :rubchin:

perhaps if you love him that much and his injury proneness is hurting you that much, you can transfer your feelings to former west ham striker Samassi Abou? not quite the same but you know

Bean head took a shot against Chelsea on September 29th, injured himself in the process and hasn't been seen since since

We may as well piss his wages down the toilet, sick notes like him and so-sh1t-ski would only be tolerated by the deluded Turnip.

Can everyone now see how much we miss the great man. There isn't another player in the squad and not many in Europe who can link defence with attack like this guy can at pace. At Anfield and Man City we were praised for the speed of our play - all of a sudden its pedestrian and predictable. This is exactly why the Imperious One will come to be sorely missed by those that mock him now. He's one of the most inventive players around and we miss him like fuck

Never mind I'm sure Frimpong and Ramsey will be back soon to save the day

Don't agree SteveO. We never had him play often enough to really miss his contribution. We've never really had it, sadly. :|

wasn't it Fulham at home last year that bean head came on as a sub played about 20 minutes and then had to be subbed off injured again?

Didn't see him for months after that.
