Ok, it was me who voted for Martinez.
The man has class. He would serve the club with class. He's young (younger than me!)
Given the huge funds we have avaialble, I'm sure he would deliver trophies.
Remember them ? Trophies !

Owen Coyle
Anyone with a bit of tactical nous really, that can motivate players and does not make players regress and play players out of position.

Klopp I can't see happening. I can see Pep being here but really I doubt it also. I can keep dreaming though.
Re: Next Arsenal Manager *poll*
Thing is, I like the idea of an ex player taking the reigns. I fantasise a romantic situation where Adams becomes manager and leads us to glory. Please tell me I'm not the only one

Voted Klopp.
I worry that pep was just lucky to work with one of the greatest club sides in history and perhaps would struggle with whats left of our team.
Anything at the moment seems better than the sleeping bag wearing, arm flapper who moans at 4th officials for £7m a year. How has he managed to fall so far from the invincibles

Would love Low, Bilic, Van Bastin, Adams or even Bould.
We'll get Southgate....

Jürgen Klopp no question.
Re: Next Arsenal Manager *poll*
Don't think Moyes would be a sensible choice, the last thing you need is a manager who is happy to just work with what he's got and not kick up a fuss about a lack of transfer funds. He's good but he wouldn't be what you need imo.
Not convinced I'd go for Guardiola either, done really well at Barca but how he'd cope at a club who aren't already blessed with stars remains to be seen, a lot of managers randomly do really well at one club and are then shit everywhere else (AVB springs to mind), very few seem to be able to succeed at 3 or more clubs, I think you need a bit of proven talent rather than taking a punt on someone who might be yet another one club wonder.
TBH I'm convinced that, the very cream aside, there is a lot of luck in management, get the right player at the right time and some awful managers can look like they're doing a good job. Many are clueless bullshitters who stumble from club to club hoping to get lucky at one of them.
No idea who you should actually go for like, actually Benitez might be a decent shout

It's hardly clear that he doesn't kick up a fuss out of choice or because he realises he has no choice. At the moment, what option does he have?safcftm wrote:Don't think Moyes would be a sensible choice, the last thing you need is a manager who is happy to just work with what he's got and not kick up a fuss about a lack of transfer funds. Sticking Ferrari doors on a transit van doesn't make it a Ferrari, just like sticking any half decent manager in charge of our football team won't stop the rotten board from being a bunch of mercenary *word censored* with little interest in football success on the field provided they keep reaping huge profits from their sustainable business model

I went for Klopp. I think he's got pretty much all the attributes we need.
I'm unconvinced about Moyes.
Slavan Bilic may be worth considering.

Gary Neville, he seems to be angry at what has happened at Arsenal. Seems like he had a decent respect for our club which is more than can be said for our current board.

Don't rate Guardiola Wenger could have managed them to success
