Hmm. well I think on NLD day it's important to get a bit of a neutral perspective on Spurs.DB10GOONER wrote:This is one of those duplicate threads I like to leave open.![]()

They're kunts. The reason they are kunts is hard to pin down, but I'll give it a go. Firstly there's their fans, utter kunts, trips to "the Lane" with those bastards about are never pleasant. They've always been sneaky little twats and that shows no signs of changing, nothing they enjoy more than trying to ambush people (even women, kids, people in strips etc) if they're in a big enough group. Cowardly kunts turn on their heels very quickly when the numbers get evened up.
Then there's the fans that don't go around attacking people (or trying to) around the ground, yep, that's your "average" Spurs fan who, whilst not being violent, is still a dislikeable prick due to the unfathomable air of arrogance that surrounds him. Apparently Spurs are a big club, should be in the Champions League every season and teams should be honoured to play against them (a few seasons ago when SAFC won promotion back to the prem our first game was Spurs at home, I was chatting to a Spurs fan who was actually okay until he turned around and said "yeah, it'll be great for you to be back in the prem, and to start against a team like Tottenham, you must be loving that"

The fact is Spurs are a relative nonentity. Not a small club by any means but far from big, they're a two bit cup team if anything. Two league titles in their history is hardly befitting of a big club, that puts them just behind the might of Huddersfield Town who have 3 and level with Derby, Portsmouth and Burnley. They've won a few cups though, mint.
Then there's the chairman. He's a ****. One of the most unlikable men in football and one who seems to believe the bullshit about Spurs and thinks that any shite player that they play once every 10 games should still be worth the exact same amount they paid for him because he's been at Tottenham. Glad to see that tends to mean that they're stuck with underperforming shite on high wages that they can't shift for a good few years.
Thankfully they got rid of Redknapp at long last but then they've got "AVB" who also seems like a bit of a ****, and a talentless one at that. One good run in Portugal and all of a sudden people presume he's the next Mourinho. He's not. He's a ****.
Good points about Spurs? Well, I don't mind their stadium I suppose, bit of an old fashioned feel to it and a decent view of the pitch. The downside being that you've got the home fans right next to you and, did I mention, they're kunts. As are the stewards who seek to eject away fans at any opportunity whilst seemingly letting the home fans do what they want. And I like Danny Rose. I think that's about it.
They're pretty much an abhorrent, delusional, arrogant set of kunts, not too dissimilar to the delusional, arrogant set of kunts up the road from Sunderland, the Newcastle of the south, all mouth with precious little to back it up. Trips to Highbury and the Emirates are always good days out, trips to Spurs are shit, hope you give them a good battering and shut them up for a while. And if one more person dares to suggest that Gareth fucking Bale is in any way comparable to Messi and Ronaldo I think I'll struggle not to hit them, he's nowhere near either of them. Actually, fittingly, he's a ****.

Their chairman got things done this summer, signed three players I wanted for us.
Ourstaff let RvP go and have yet to extend Walcott's or Sagna's contract.
