Footballing Flops - Don't Believe the Hype!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

fergie signed forlan on video evidence alone... although he WAS right, just for some reason couldn't get the best out of him

I thought Glenn Helder was going to be one of the best players I would ever see in an Arsenal shirt. Amazing debut and first few games

Turns out he wasn't even as good as Eddie McOnetrick

A list of players who go to show that you can't always believe the hype. These are my top 4 failed footballing flops.
Anyone else for the list?
Surely if this is your top 4 list, how the fuck would I know if there was anybody for it?
