Spuds game

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just glad that the fat, useless,RvP loving, Brazilian tosspot won't be there to make Lennon look like Messi.

Not long till January 1st when hopefully the disgusting lardarsed wanker will be shipped out to some poor undeserving souls
January 1st 2015 maybe... Christ knows nobody else will pay him half as much as we do or let him maintain his bloated physique.

Interested to know if anyone felt.like this as well,
I was actually more pissed off after the 4-4
than I was after Speed coming back from 2 nil down
to win away for the first time in 17 years...
sounds silly when put like that.
We had destroyed them at 4-2
we created chance after chance
we had opportunities to win and tried to show off.
In the fricking NLD.
The thing that pissed me off
was not that our players didnt understand how important the derby
is
Is that they weren't clinical enough t dominate leagues.

I still vividly remember the cup semi v the scum at old shatford (sol's last nld for them) and without question it was one of the best highs as a Gooner - my first nld, the wife's first nld and the whole "hotel absolutely wrecked" story by an almighty fracas between rival fans the night before all combined to make it an unbelievable weekend :barscarf:
Some big games with crazy results

not sure how it will be this time. German Kicker magazin is talking about that. Also saying that Arsenal has the worst start since 1982? http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/intl ... sturm.html

So good luck for the game today!
Cheers,

Sandro is going to completely outmuscle our technical midget midfield.

Hard to call this game what with both sides being so inconsistent. Defenitely dont think we will keep a clean sheet. I say 2-2.

Sorry to tempt fate but Sandro is horse shit and just another player that Spurs fans have ludicrously talked up beyond reality. The bloke couldn't get a game last year unless one-pace Parker stopped kicking people long enough to get crocked.

What worries me is that Tom Twentystone is a good bet for an absolute screamer.

Still, fuck it it's derby day :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I feel sick. Pining for the times, not so long ago, when I (and others) on here could realistically post that the NLD wasn't important any more as Tottscum never beat us and our real rivals were manure and chavski. I want my Arsenal back.

Its that familiar sick feeling of excitement and dread at the same time. Win, and at least for one weekend, we can enjoy the spoils of war.

Lose and the OG will go into overdrive again

I dont buy into wanting to lose so that ODL has the pressure cranked up- this is the one fixture we CANT lose under any manager or any circumstances.

Get stuck into these :censored: from the first whistle and FFS win- this board will be like Samaritans if we dont. Thats just the way the NLD is- it makes you forget everything for a couple of days if you win or brings it our decline into sharper focus if we lose.

Up the Arsenal

Wenger has got some big calls to make today - does he close up the midfield by playing the likes of Ramsey to try and combat their wide men or does he play with a more expansive formation and try to impose our play on the game?

I think its the latter. Bale will cause problems no matter who he is playing against so personally I think playing a more defensive midfield is playing into their hands and inviting pressure. We need to get after them - they are just as poor defensively as we have been recently
