I find it a shame that they scored a second and we didn't make it 6/7/8.

Agreed. Should've been the highest ever margin of victory in a NLD. If our players weren't such lazy twats, it could and should've been 7-1.

They were there for the taking.

1989 wrote:They were absolutey shite after Adebaymore's red card. I haven't seen a worse capitulation since our famous throwing away of a 4 goal lead at Newcastle. Spurs have even less fight than us and are far shitter than they were last season.

If Monkeyboy decides to want out, they're royally fucked.
Wasn't surprised to see AVB talking up their spirit (although better team from first minute to last - he does know football games last longer than 20 minutes right?) but most of their fans seem delighted with their fight and spirit. Is it just me or did they not collapse like a house of cards? They capitulated against a struggling Arsenal side that will finish 4th placed at best. We could have put 7 on them had we really been minded to, they wasted any possession they had with 10 men and were predictably found wanting when their tactic of kicking it to Bale and watching him skin everyone didn't work (well it did once but fuck off). Thought Sagna did well today, hardly a barnstorming performance and Bale was well below par and also lacked service but he showed that Bale can be kept quiet if you're positionally solid and get tight at the right times.

If we played with our in their prime Invincible first XI then we'd be looking at a 7 or 8-1 result. No doubt about it.

Still trying to get back down to earth again having got home around 8pm (keep singing north london is ours since I got home  ). The NLD scares the shit out of me like no other game - even when we were winning leagues and manure were our big rivals, this game had me on edge like no other and today was no different. In the first 20mins we were dire and the place was totally flat and it took the red card to get the team AND FANS going. By half time I had a shocking headache initially caused by stress, then by joyous celebrations and then compounded by a sharp elbow to the head from one of my fellow fans as we jumped around deliriously after the 3rd goal went in........and I loved every bit of it 8)

Was listening to 5live on drive down from dublin tonight and am baffled by the scum fans reactions - there was no anger and finger point at the greedybayor c**t and instead they focused their anger on avb :o As was said the other day, he got panned last week for playing the togolese c**t up front on his own v citeeh even though their messiah (tax dodging c**t) did the very same all last season. Today he played two up front like they have been demanding and he is still wrong. At half time he changed his tactics at 3-1 down and went for it and imo he should deserve credit from the swamp dwellers instead of constant criticism. I aint no scum c**t but I do like avb and he deserves better than a better club than that one that is full of deluded c**ts who forget where their rightful place is in the football pecking order.........below The Arsenal 8) :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Agree Augie, even when we were pissing on all and sundry Spurs was always the game I looked forward and dreaded most.

Harry Redkunt, what a fucking droopy mug

Enjoyed those highlights. Good commentary from Jonathan Pearce for the Giroud goal.
Was like his old Capital Gold days

I liked Wilshire getting into the refs face for the red card. Put abit more pressure and seemed to fire the rest up

Even worse they've got that jowelly twitchy c**t there at least Kompany gave us some credit. Just think if the forehead wasn't useless we could've beaten Citeh at the Middle Eastlands.

On a different note isn't it amazing that a classless set up like Shitty throwing their mullah around and one of their best buys is their captain bought on the cheap before they started throwing money around. Anytime he's interviewed, always think he's pretty decent person and doesn't sound like the average thick c**t footballer.

The boy is 100% Arsenal. It fills me with great joy to know he plays for us.

Absolutely. Kompany comes across as a decent and intelligent bloke. Would not mind having him at The Arsenal at all.
