Can my dad use my sisters junior gunner membership?

Post by Ahmed_1995 »

When he comes next I want to get him ticket and was wondering as I have two memberships one for me (cannon club) and my sister (junior gunner).. That if I buy a adult ticket on the JG ... Can he use it to get in ... Thanks in advance for the help :)

When a JG card is put into the turnstile, it illuminates a light just inside the gate which alerts a steward to check that the person coming in is actually a child. So yes, it can be done. But it's pretty risky & probably not recommended.

Which game are you looking to take him to? Even without a membership I should imagine you could pick him up a ticket for most games, either from General Sale/Friends & Family or on twitter...

There is one thing you can do. If you can get away with looking under 17 or whatever age the junior gunners go up to, then use your sister's card yourself. It will light up orange on the turnstile but you are probably more likely to get away with that than your dad.

Let your dad then use your cannon club card as that will not light up and it will look as though he's using a normal adult ticket. Obviously try not to attract too much attention to yourself and choose the turnstile where the steward seems to be paying the least attention.

Not worth the hassle in my opinion - as long as it's not a big game you'll be able to get a ticket.
