As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The MUSE concert announced at The Emirates got me thinking :rubchin:
Does The Club think we won't make the Champions League Final or even win it?
If they thought we'd make the final surely they'd open up the Emirates for the thousands of fans unable to attend to cheer on The Arsenal together??
AND if we won it would they not parade the trophy via the ground at some point on the Sunday. There could easily be 250,000 Arsenal fans in the area celebrating if that happened, would they all have dispersed by the time the concert started?
I can imagine them looking at the fixture list and saying 'NAH, that weekends fine, there'll be no games involving Arsenal then, book MUSE before they change their minds!!'

Agreed, my brother in law thinks they are fucking great and has seen them about a 100 fucking times, travelling as far as London, who in their right mind would travel all that way to watch shite :wink:

Our last and only champions league final, us without tickets made our way to nearby stadium pubs, to hopefully celebrate Fever Pitch style after, our new stadium could accommodate thousands of us if it ever happened, but they and by the looks of the responses people don't think it'll happen....suppose you're right, just a weird decision IMO by the club I thought... :? :-?

Arsenal will make money off the concert, they'd make fuck all opening up the stadium for the fans to celebrate a trophy win (snigger). It's a no brainer for Ivan.

The upside to this thread however is that it has been decreed by the gooner posse that MUSE are fucking muck.

Presumably, if we do get to the final, the club and police will request Arsenal fans stay away from the ground? :?
