either not selling, or buying, meant borrowing more money

I agreed with board's believe that generating further debt wasn't a good idea

I'd say, to most people, that's completely normal. Nobody likes being lied to, but that doesn't mean telling the truth is going to placate people if what you tell them goes against their beliefs.

Sorry, mate - but that is just silly.

We didn't win the PL in 08 because Arsene failed to strengthen sufficiently to cope with injuries and late season player fatigue/loss of form. There was no conspiracy to stop us. We stopped ourselves.

I do remember Wenger talking about 'dark forces' once when we didnt win the league but I think that was back in 2003.
