Is it just me or does stadium of light benfica

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If the club were gonna force out to move then the very least they could have done was to build something especially for us. But the fans feelings are never taken into consideration. We know our role - pay up shut up and sit down!
Must be a godsend though for the designers of FIFA!!

the fans were for it :cussing:

was there any organised opposition ? - nope.

we should of just redone the Clock End as a double tier and rebuilt the West Stand as a triple, but nooooo all our new fans' wanted a new bigger stadium, and the board obliged as they didn't have the bollocks to stand up to the local council (like the scousers have...).

it was and still is a fucking disgrace that we left Highbury. :censored:

Couldn't agree more.

I don't know why they didn't incorporate some sort of mock 1930s facade around the outside, and inside shouldn't have been a bowl. The stands should have been set up separately, and maybe steeper to give a more enclosed feel.

Didn't Wenger have a major say on the layout also :?: He's a fucking architect as well as an economist (May as well be as he gave up being a football manager in 2008)
