Fergie time

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Read it yesterday, would have been quite interesting had everybody not already known that the big teams get favourable treatment, especially at home, with United sitting pretty right at the top of ref's lists.

Is it not worthy of an investigation why this happens because the extra time given is much greater than any other team

No. It'll be justified by teams time-wasting etc when leading at the big grounds. To be honest we've also profited from referee's favouring the big teams at home, not to the same extent as United at all and not much over the last few years but generally.

Not really. While losing Arsenal and Tottenham get about the same time as Manchester United.
The difference between extra time while winning and while losing is very high but I'm not sure if that really means something.. and tbh I think it's completely wrong not to look at every club playing in the competition.

I think it just proves that refs hate the Chavs - which is fine by me :barscarf:

Would be great to see some sort of unofficial bias develop against them from the rest of the refereeing community - all they deserve the fucking classless wankers

For starters games where United, Arsenal or Chelsea are losing at home is not the greatest statistical sample. Secondly, in such games the opposition teams have generally been time wasting from about 30 minutes onwards to the point where they should be grateful that injury time is not even higher tbh.
