Arsene Wenger - What Stage Are You At?
Re: What Stage Are You At?
9. I actually want Arsenal to lose matches to hasten his demise. He is affecting my mental health.

I was thinking before the Montepelier game, Christ, if we win this, we have to hear him gloat about CL qualification again, I can't take it...
Doesn't it have the same effect on you?

Yes - but not to the extent that I want us to actually lose matches!!N1Goon wrote:I Hate Hleb wrote:N1Goon wrote:9. I actually want Arsenal to lose matches to hasten his demise. He is affecting my mental health.

Right now, would you prefer we finished 5th rather then 4th, with the knowledge that a 5th placed finish would be the end of Wenger?
Obviously, I don't want us to get relegated, but a nice Europa League spot and new manager would do me a world of good.

Unfortunately, I don't think ending in 5th place - or even worse - would cost Wenger his job.

When that day arrives I honestly hope he is able to leave with his pride and dignity intact.
It would be a sad thing if he were to ever be hounded out, it'd never happen anyway imo.
If we remain trophy less by the time his contract expires I reckon he'll do the decent thing and walk.

Would be interested to know just how much longer you think he needs to 'turn it around' and how many more years without success would it take for you to come to the conclusion 'Wenger's time had expired'?
