As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Kick about with the mackams is 10am and walking distance from ground.
In pub by 11:30 even Denison would get a runout!
Sod it no boots but will run out for 10-15 mind if that helps OG....let me know...will probably throw up on side lines but good to go so count me. In......
To be honest the "not having the money" excuse doesn't cut much ice with me, low interest loans can be in your account within the same day of applying and there are plenty of 0% credit cards out there people could have ready if serious about being offered a ST.
I can understand people not wanting to get a ST in the upper tier as the seats are generally terrible, but it does get your foot in the door so that in future you can try and attempt to lower tier.
Seems like there are plenty loaning STs out there from other fans and thus preventing them from getting one in their own right (and name), another example of fans shooting themselves in the foot.

All depends on how much debt you have....personally I don't spend what I don't have, waited 7yrs and got LT but I would guess moving from UT to LT will be harder as demand will be high....so I can see why someone would defer...
The.loaning in my view should be stopped as this does block honest supporters.....ps if bloody ST prices weren't so high this would reduce the defferal rates etc....

Been on the list 2 years now, first year moved from 38k (ish) to 27k then this year looks like ill be under 10k, there wont be a waiting list in the next year or two, its crazy.
sound like ur like me, i was 38k last season then moved to 28k this season, expecting to go up about 10k more this season but prob get offered one next season again
I was sat something like 19,081 on the list and was offered (and accepted) my season ticket on Saturday lunchtime. Not bloody cheap and stuck up on row 19 in block 99, but my theory is that I will be able to do a seat swap next season and hopefully move into the lower bowl with a better atmosphere and cheaper seats.
Has anyone ever done this and was it as straightforward as the guy in the box office suggested?

I'd say it literally depends on how many people give up their season tickets in the lower tier pal, if you're on the ball it should be straightforward though
Got the call yesterday, waiting list number 33K. Only one ticket though in Upper, Centre I guess hearing the cost. Was then offered the two tickets required at Club Level, but I wasn't the Euromillions winner last night. Don't know if the fact I've had my email registered with the club since email began that prompted this seemingly early offer. Used to pay my £7.50 and stand in front of East Stand, then Season Ticket East Lower, then TRS North Bank.

I have a Pal who is currently working on forestry conservation in Kota Kinabalu (Borneo) who was rung by the Box Office and Offered a seat !
Non of the rescued Orangutans appeared very interested in the Lower tiers but look forward to swinging around in the rafters !
