Hand on my heart I am not sure what positive changes we can expect from this march but what I will say with absolute certainty is that if this march fails that it will be the death knoll for any march for any reason for many years to come ? Right now we (the fans) are being totally disregarded by all those within the club itself as insignificant and the only way to change that perception is by a huge show of numbers on saturday. If we fail to get a good turnout then Gooners will be dismissed by the media and by the club as a rabble who cannot even unite amongst themselves so I dont care if some of you only agree with some of what the BSM are marching for or even if you are totally non plussed about the whole thing, just please turn up on saturday to lend your support to those that are marching for the benefit of all of us Gooners

Augie afer reading years of your angry rants against the club on these pages I am surprised that you will not be there when presented with the platform to show your frustrations. To be truthful I'm not expecting the march to necessarily result in any change but I know that I am hugely looking forward to venting my anger with like minded supporters.

You are talking about the march failing but "Rome wasn't built in a day" and "A journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step"... We are just at the beginning of this journey.

For me part of the frustration over recent seasons has been hearing and reading everyone moaning over and over again and again about the same old subjects time and time again about issues such as the club's continued lack of ambition, distain towards it's own match going supporters, scandalous ticket prices and lack of atmosphere in the ground. Now the BSM is providing us with the opportuntity to regularly challenge the board on these and other issues.

Just the thought of making Kroenke, Gazidis and cronies squirm makes my day! Bring it on!

Hugh I would absolutely have made it over if it was possible but sadly I am unable to do so having been over for the scum game two weeks ago.
As regards the rest of your post I dont believe that I suggested that the march is doomed to fail at all - in fact I would go so far as to say that I actually appealed to everybody that is able to attend to do so cos that march is representing each and everyone of us. I suggested that if the march wasnt well attended then it will kill off the possibility of any marches in the future and for that reason I said that it was imperitive that people supported the march. The only partially negative thing I said (and I dont think that it was negative either) was that I didnt know what positive changes it could bring but even then I spoke about the need to show the club the unity the fans are feeling now

FFS. I'm going on the march. I want Wenger gone. I want the board gone. BUT the march will have the biggest impact if there are loads of people involved. AKBs and WOBs , we just want our team to to show some ambition again. Let's not let this descend into a gooner v gooner thing but a gooner v the cnuts who are slowly but surely destroying our club!

Only at Arsenal could 62% of people go on a march to protest against a number of things - one of the prime things being the overcharging of fans - and then actually go into the ground afterwards

Personally I have a season ticket for me and my lad and the average cost is £50 a game. I don't have too much of a problem with that (although I was previously upper tier and the price was scandalous).

I do have a problem with the way our money is spent (or not spent) and would have a bigger problem if Silent Stan started taking dividends. Hence I'm on the march then off to the game.

I agree mate, I hate how there's like a huge split in the fanbase now that will only become deeper and deeper. Fair play to BSM for appealing to all Gooners to show a united front, many don't agree with the stance (or lack thereof) on Wenger but it's the best opportunity for success. But there will always exist a split until Wenger either leaves or turns things round. So until he leaves.

Convinced the old man to come along, so shall be attending the match and the game. See you all there! :barscarf:

Yes we have a season ticket too, so we might as well use them, even if the way the club spends the money would make the US Government look saintly.

Said this to someone the other day. At the very best Wenger is responsible for creating the biggest divide in The Gooner fanbase that I can remember. At worst he is responsible for the continuing shitness of AFC.

One of today's papers referred to this as a BSM walk - quoting 'the latte drinking Arsenal fans prefer a walk to a march'

:D
