Baku FC

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Absolutely brilliant. So with this logic, I suppose that I should be a General in the Army for being good at Command and Conquer...

Yeah - Wenger's complaint about not working a day in football is now moot as I have managed 20+ virtual seasons!

Jaysus! Would you work for less than £7 million a year? Say, for about £2 million a year? :rubchin:

I'd give you the job! 8)

My six year old quite likes Fifa 09 even 'though Ade***or is in the Arsenal team and his Dad is too tight to buy him the latest version.

I feel he may be over-qualified for a place on the coaching staff.

If it's not a hoax, will be interesting to see how he gets on. if only to shut Wenger up.

Woah there, don't be so rash!  if he can get a performance out of Greedybayor then maybe he can do the same with Gervinho, Arshavin and the Chamster? :rubchin: :rubchin:

:D

Did you read the bit where the lad says "I have been playing Football Manager since 2002"

I wonder if when under pressure the game he said "I have been playing football manager games for 10 years now. I do not need to justify all my decisions to you"

Interesting ,Wenger holds a lot of store on his stats ,remember he used to point out that Denilson had the highest pass completion in the EPL .
The problem with computer games is that by and large the players perform to their model whereas facts are useless in emergencies ,U cant motivate a player or a team with stats nor can randomly throwing 11 people together make them a team, although that is in fact what Wenger often does.
He will do very well and finish 4th in the league !

I guess whatever version of football manager he's played for 10 years, Diaby and Rosicky have been injured.

Do the players on the computer game become a little bit jaded sometimes ?

Yes, they drop a bit physically.
