Probably the best choice you can make in the centre, big, cheap and with space for all 4.5k of you right outside.
Can see time + beer + fountains getting a little messy.

Is the Loyds one bar in the Leisure exchange?
We are staying at the holiday inn there and arriving at 13:30pm.

No, it's 5 minutes walk from there, downhill to the city Centre. Just head for the Town Hall you can't miss it.jaymitch81 wrote:Is the Loyds one bar in the Leisure exchange?
PS We know you are Arsenal but we are well surprised with this away support, midweek night in Bradford, odds on win, it is f.o.o.k.i.n impressive.

No problem, can't think of many other PL club that would bring 4.5k "regular" supporters for this game, Newcastle maybe, but certainly no other London club.Jakeybown wrote:Why thank youwill be a good crack, reading all over again?
TBH I think it will be better for you than Reading, more of a novelty, weird really, L2 club but 23/24k there, you are also in a cracking stand for view and noise, and of course, we will be wetting ourselves with excitement. As long as you don't score too early then it should be a good do.

Should be good, our support will be cracking as we've got numbers and it's a trek, yours I imagine will be buzzing as it's the biggest game in probably a decadeSaltaireBantam wrote:No problem, can't think of many other PL club that would bring 4.5k "regular" supporters for this game, Newcastle maybe, but certainly no other London club.Jakeybown wrote:Why thank youwill be a good crack, reading all over again?

That's very true, not many league 2 clubs or even league 1 or championship clubs that get crowds of 23k , fair play to you all.

See you there then lads. Ill be bringing the Yorkshire Arsenal supporters club. loads of gooners be very very merry.

Re: Bradford Beer & Stuff
To anyone who is driving up, I have been told to avoid the M62 because of ongoing roadworks. Go straight up the M1 to Leeds and then go across to Bradford from there. Maybe one of the Yorkshire lads can confirm.

Yes, at the mo there are roadworks on the M62 heading West, just before the M606 junction into Bradford. But, they are due to be finished on Dec 1st and all lanes are open till past 7/8pm anyway. No real problem AFAIK.

Dec 1st 2013 more like!SaltaireBantam wrote:Yes, at the mo there are roadworks on the M62 heading West, just before the M606 junction into Bradford. But, they are due to be finished on Dec 1st and all lanes are open till past 7/8pm anyway. No real problem AFAIK.
I now live in the area for work and i can tell you all the M62 is a nightmare, guaranteed at least 1 accident both ways per day. If you drive up early enough you should get a clean drive through from the M1 junction to the Birstall retail junction, then i'd advise taking the bypass through a town called Drighlington which leads you on to Tong Street which is a straight road into Bradford and you can see the stadium in the distance. If you hit it at peak time which i normally do from 4pm onwards then you're looking at around an hour journey time just to get to Birstall from the M1, longer if you take the M606 junction further along.

M1/62/606 is best but the M62 is no worse than normal at the moment, a nightmare at rush hours but ok at other times.
Re: Bradford Beer & Stuff
Looks like bradford have sold all the tickets for the game , 23500 all together I have heard, not bad for a Tuesday night
