As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Was priced out of seeing Arsenal all throughout my childhood. Those should have been Golden years for me as I would have seen the Invincibles, Henry, Bergkamp etc (born 93)... Even though I lived on the doorstep to Highbury and adored the club, I made do with watching the games at pubs with my Dad (in the days before streams )
Now I cannot justify the price as an adult. I couldn't when we were a title-contending squad a few years ago so I definitely can't now.
I am looking forward to the March, partly because it is a good excuse to go over to Blackstock Rd for a drink and enjoy a few of my old Highbury drinking haunts.
So 1000 expected to march, tbh that is pretty shit with all the moaning that goes on in forums and the publicity the march has got in the media.
Wont even put a pin prick into the board. If you are unhappy with the club and the way it is run, let the board know inside the stadium, not good for the team in the short run but the club have to hear us and quite frankly 1,000 out of 60,000 is embarassing.
I don't think the walk will upset the owner who will probably read about via email from Uncle Ivan on Monday.
It will have no effect whatsoever on the way the club is run.
However, I wish Reg and the boys all the best and hope that if all else fails Dickhead Hill-Wood gets it both barrels, the arrogant old dinosaur. Removing him as Chairman will again have no impact on the decision making at the club but it will at least stop the old *word censored* wondering what day of the week it is at the opening of the AGM and generally making an arse of himself at the expense of the club.
Good luck to everyone who is attending. Hope it goes well. I will be watching that other shower of shit who play in red this afternoon. Corporate hospitality has taken me to the Welsh game against the convicts.
