1998-2004 would do nicely.

Perhaps it should be re-phased "We want David Dein back"

Going for a 2-0 to the Arsenal today although have no idea what the result will be.

I would not mind but on paper I think we have a cracking team who could compete with anyone. Unfortunately there seems to be a big disconnect and am not sure they have actually worked out how to play together. All our midfield are giving the ball away too much, not just Ramsey who seems to be an easy target. Ramsey was our best midfielder against Villa and Caz was anonymous. At least he was getting himself into positions to score and tried really hard. We have gone backwards since the first Intl break after seeing the team growing together and starting to control and dictate matches.
Anyway am really hoping we can go on a run of matches beginning today which will give some much needed confidence.

A honest manager, who is tactically and defensively knowledgeable. One who will knock egos back down into order and make them want to play for him. Wenger is a sneaky, lying snake and he has made his 'children' into that as well. Look at the rapey Van Persie who was willing to sever all ties at a moments notice, or the sulky French brat Nasri who had years of Wenger bigging him up as the 'most talented player' he had ever worked with. Sagna is another French sulker, every time he loses the ball he is quick to point fingers and this disassociation or shifting responsibilities stems from Wenger. Not to mention Song, who had been bigged up so much he was bragging to his team-mates Barca wanted him!

Foreign brat mentality. "I am so good I will talk about myself in the third person." (Bendtner I am looking at you)

I want Moyes, badly.

Moyes as manager, with Adams as assistant working on the defence. Dein helping Moyes go out and get the top quality players, and Usmanov bank-rolling them until their hearts are content. Moyes plays better, more direct football then Arsene does with a inferior squad in 2012.

Then we would have our Arsenal back!

I think Wegner was the main proponent of the move to Ashburton Grove and the slide in fortunes begun when we departed the old stadium. This has coincided with improved fortunes of the board and Wenger at the cost to the attending fan.

On a personal note I just can't listen to Wenger post match now, the excuses are tiring and mentally I feel 'fatigued' and I have to switch off 'a little bit'.

Still don't understand anyone wanting Moyes. His record is nowhere near as good as Wenger's. Similar type managers to be honest.
So you want an honest manager who is tactically defensively knowledgable and that will be Your Arsenal Back

O Neill would probably fit your bill or Fat Sam.

And no change in the board ? Interesting.

The reason I asked the question is I don't fully believe that most people know exactly what they want when they state we want our Arsenal back

Re-read my post, I mentioned Dein and Usmanov specifically.

Turning into Chelski would be the end of 'our Arsenal'

Just seen this today: "Arsenal still in title race says Wenger".

Someone tell me the point in this announcement. He doesn't believe it, you or I don't believe it, the players don't believe it nor does Mancini, Ferguson or Laudrapp so who exactly is this latest piece of mis-information aimed at?

Yes I would definitely like my Arsenal back.

Am not sure he was the main proponent but I do think he embraced it as he knew it would benefit Arsenal long term.
Now we are ranked as the 5th or 6th wealthiest club in the world. Means nothing now of course especially if its not transferred to the pitch but long term it was a good decision. We are not in a far better position that most of our traditional rivals. I think all this talk of finances pisses supporters off especially when we are not winning things.
But unfortunately finance is important, more important than it was 20 years ago.

Sorry missed that.

If he is like Abramavich no thanks for me.
It would be a backward step imo considering Chelsea owe him more than half a billion.
Considering he never answered the question about taking dividends and his past history I would not want the guy anywhere near our club. Also no one knows what he would be like as an owner and having a guy bankroll us like Chelski or Citeh constitutes ''We want our Arsenal back'' it's an Arsenal I have never seen before.

To be honest I would be surprised if he would say any different until its absolutely impossible for us to win it. He is not going to write off the players publicly.

I have had so much stick on here for wanting us to lose recent games, but I am sure it will come to the point where I am in the majority, as @RobAdmin has made me realise.
You will never be one the majority amongst proper fans
