As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This has me bubbling over with rage, I can't actually believe someone can write this shit.
If you can't see what's going on at Arsenal, and has been over the last few years then I don't know what to say. Wenger has his faults yes, but overall he's worked wonders to keep us consistently in the top 4 over the last few years where he's CLEARLY been hung out to dry by the board. Football changed the day billionaires came in and started buying trophies, and the fact we've remained at the level we have during that time is an achievement no matter how you probably can't see it. I promise you this..when Wenger leaves, we will not be in and around the top 4.
I don't believe Wenger is as good as he was, but him leaving will not see us progress like you think we will.
If that's the case then why do you have respect for a man who knows he's hung out to dry and says nothing? Maybe his huge yearly wage is keeping him quiet
Because he clearly cares about Arsenal....he could have jumped ship to Real Madrid, PSG and Chelsea years ago, but the bloke loves Arsenal. Look, I'm not a massive Wenger fan to the point I'll defend the indefensible (the press conference last weekend was absolutely embarrassing), but I've got a real issue with these fans who circle like vultures every time we go through a spell where things are tough. It's hypocritical...we get pissed off with players who don't show commitment and don't appreciate the shirt like we do...but we'll happily talk about sacking a manager who's given 15+ years to our club whenever the going gets tough.
I remember one time he said this, about 2008 after some dissenting voices from the fans he got stroppy and threatened that he'd been in contact with them. Then the famous RedAction march......

What and get sacked a year later for failure?! I don't think so. He knows what side his bread is buttered on. I love Arsenal too, it does not mean I should be the manager. Comments like that prove that people really are scrapping the barrel now in defence of this man. Arsenal FC NOT Arsene FC.
Thomas - I sent you a PM like a week ago. Did you get it?
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger after his side's 2-0 defeat to Swansea at the Emirates Stadium: "We were not good and Swansea deserved to win. We looked very jaded after two away games in the Champions League. Where we were guilty was with three minutes to go at 0-0, if you cannot win you must not lose.
"I believed we tried very hard to get back into the game, but we weren't sharp enough. We didn't create enough chances, we will work on it. Our fans cannot be happy when we do not win games and what we produced today is not enough to keep our fans happy."
When asked about the fan's protest about the direction of the club before the match: "I don't want to get involved in that."

We are managing to plumb depths of sh*tness I never thought possible. Nothing will change this season. I had hoped we might have a chance in the league cup because the chavs are shite under the FSW but the Norwich and Swansea will dick us over 2 legs or in a one off final.
Time to batten down the hatches we are in for a sh*t ride.
Pah, I can't even be bothered. It was not at all a surprise. Resigned to this shit now. Nothing will change until someone at our club grows a pair. Big decisions to be made.
AW blaming today on "two consecutive CL away games"? Eh? What were they then?! Senile old fool.
