At the end of the day, the issues I have with Wenger are those relating to tactics/selection. Giroud not starting today baffled me. The lack of understanding and arrogance he shows for the fans frustrations are also incredibly annoying.

This is what most people are saying on here. I have never wanted an Arsenal manager to be sacked - not Neil, not Howe, not Graham. This is the first time I have ever felt like this. None of us want to feel this way about an Arsenal manager, we have been driven to it. His arrogance is astounding towards the fans, which just rubs salt into the wounds.

i don't get it.

i am 43 and i've been watchin football in the flesh and on TV since i was what 4/5 ? and i still can't figure out why any manager would take walcott, gervinho, giroud and podolski and think that the best thing to do is put gervinho in the middle, and podolski out wide and leave giroud on the bench ?

why not gervinho and walcott out wide and griroud and/or podolski in the middle ?

It's because the players aren't responsible for anywhere near as much as him. They have played below their capabilities, yes. But is it Thomas Vermaelen's job to sign players? Is it Olivier Giroud's job to pick the team? Is it Jack Wilshere's responsibility to choose the formation and tactics? Is it Szczesny's job to deal with players' contracts?

Wenger is the man that has sold our best players. He's also the one who hasn't replaced them. He's the man that insists on playing the same fucking formation every single game. He's the man who has instilled the air of arrogance into the squad. He's the man who publicly celebrates mediocrity. He's the man who decides to give injury-prone underachievers lucrative new contracts.

The players underperforming isn't the reason we're 15 points behind after 15 games.
