THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Football Manager sacked this evening...team wear red shirt and white sleeves and play at Highbury,...Fleetwood have sacked their manager just seven months after promotion to the Football League. They are 7th in the table but a Cup defeat to Aldershot cost the manager his job.

I believe the support from the board is there to spend the money if we find the players.
Yes but to FIND the players you have to be LOOKING for the players. You aren't you myopic twat!
Get your head out of your arse and spend money on top quality players, not French/African average shite!!!!!!!!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Should look at Huntelaar and/or Llorente but if we signed them Wenger would probably play them at full back to learn 'positional discipline'.

I wouldn't trust him to buy a pint, he'd probably get a packet of crisps and try and convince me it's a beer.

with no chance of winning the champions league or finishing in the top four why would any top class player sign for us ?

especially if they know there's unrest at the club ?

knowing the senile old git in charge he'll probably bring back Bentdner and Denilson and say its like 'two new signings'....

time to pension him off.

No chance of finishing 4th??? :?

We definitely have a chance of that. Admittedly, that's probably the height of our ambitions, but I certainly wouldn't rule it out just yet.
