Re: BSM March before Swansea
Not too long in the door and needless to say the March eclipsed the muck on the pitch today. Well done to Reg and the boys, 200 first time round and according to a copper I was yakking to after, they had it estimated near the 2,000 mark. Regarding the numbers on Bear roundabout, I was well to the right what with the over spill and a large number behind me had started to disperse at that stage so deceptive to the late coming on lookers to ascertain the true numbers. Ivan heard his name called alright.

Well done to all involved in organising the march yesterday and to all those who made the effort to attend. I'd say easily 2000 took part.
This video (towards the end) shows the numbers that showed up.

I have read people posting comments such as the board won't give a fuck but this is just the beginning and these sorts of numbers will get the club much unwanted negative media attention. Anyway I'd much rather die fighting than die whining on a laptop doing nothing!

Well done everyone , we will have Ivan putting people on here soon watching us and trying to knock us down . When they notice the protests they might come on this site and take notice.

Good effort people

Re: BSM March before Swansea
Well done. It even got a mention on the morning Goals show on the PL channel here in Singapore (MIO Stadium) as part of the presenters summing up on it not being a good day for Arsenal. News is spreading.

This was an embarassment tbh, the club will take more notice of the boo's in the stadium than what turned out to be an incipid march not much better than the teams performance.Dan_85 wrote:Was on the march. Good turn out too, about 1,000 I'd guess...
If you want to make your voices heard, its got to be in the stadium and right into the ears of the manager and the board.![]()
Hope it is the start of things to come and another or similar follows shortly, which I would hope to be able to make.
Keep up the good work lads and lassies.

I think they have been watching us for a while.....

Re: BSM March before Swansea
I wasn't at the match, but well done to everyone who went on the march. It got great publicity and can only grow from small beginnings. Looked more like 1000's than 100's to me from the videos!
I just hope its going to be followed up at future matches to build on what was achieved yesterday.
There are many ways to skin a cat. The BSM march and the booing in the ground being two. And I think the club will also be getting a message from the prawn sandwich brigade. I can only imagine how difficult it is for box holders to get people to come along on corporate these days.... Seriously, I know someone who had the job of organising corporate at Villa Park. And it became very difficult to "sell" it to clients unless they were playing Utd or.....Arsenal!
One thing I hate though is the divisions. There will have been many people on that march yesterday who also went to the game (the majority?) and a good few who could be called AKB's if scratched beneath the surface. And I also know of long time gooners who have bought seats in Club level. So I think some people should get down off the moral high ground and stop continually making assumptions about who is happy and who is not.

I really must apologise for having worked my nuts off for 35 years and had some luck and success and had the audacity to decide to buy a club level ticket in 2006- what the f**k is wrong with that MK bloody GOULD.
At least I was at the march and am flying to Athens in the morning- call me a prawn sandwich also as I have an interest in a box as well but please please don't insult me because we have choices and can afford to go where we want in style.
I won't slag anyone off who lives in Ireland or has emigrated to Australia or is unemployed and cannot afford to go to the Emirates because we all share the same love and passion, that is the greatest thing about football.
IT DOESN'T MEAN I AM HAPPY BUT I WOULD HATE NOT GOING TO GAMES SO HAVE TO DO MY BIT IN DIFFERENT WAYS BUT THAT IS NOT DIVISIONS, JUST CHOICES

Thanks for the update on your continued success in life but I don't think he was taking a swipe at you, in fact pointing out his dislike for the fact that some fans (such as those in Club Level) are now often stereotyped because of the current situation creating divisions between fans. Might be wrong though.

I don't go to home games anymore but I think I'll be at the next march once it's arranged, I think we all need to try and stand up on this and I really feel that BSM are making the right moves!
