I don't think that MK Gould was having a dig george. That's how I read it.

NB123, mmm we will see what he says but my interpretation is that because us club levellers spend that money buying it means we are happy and we know we are not.
my point is whether club or pub we all have the same love and need to unite so all the prawn sandwich shit is often just pure jealousy and that creates more divisions and hatred- i am being mugged financially far more than the brilliant fans in the lower tier and if could get the right seats in block 16 or 17 would be there tomorrow, but i can't

you're not wrong - that's clearly what Gould meant. George just got the wrong end of the stick... which can happen.northbank123 wrote:Thanks for the update on your continued success in life but I don't think he was taking a swipe at you, in fact pointing out his dislike for the fact that some fans (such as those in Club Level) are now often stereotyped because of the current situation creating divisions between fans. Might be wrong though.
You getting that apology ready, George?!

Re: BSM March before Swansea
Trouble is the board couldn't give a monkeys as long as the money keeps rolling in.hit them were it hurts is the only way.stop people going in the armoury on a match day spending money now that would fuck them off.
For the first time for ages I was at the ground about three hours before kick off , I went to the Armoury to have a look at what was happening before I went to the pub. The customers that were in there were what I would consider as tourists, I was surprised at the number of different languages being spoken. There was a French supporters club , Italian and Spanish also Eastern European and Far eastern languages that i don't speak . I don't think the money being spent there is from the mainstream supporter who perhaps buy their shirt for themselves and kids once a year. Visiting The Arsenal is part of the social set up and buying merchandise and having their photos taken with the statues seems to be the thing. What happened after I left I have no idea but I don't think regulars are the main source of income in the shops.

I know mate, and I think that's the point that MK Gould was making too tbf, nobody likes the situation where people are looked down upon for sitting in a particular block or whatever.georgeknows89 wrote:NB123, mmm we will see what he says but my interpretation is that because us club levellers spend that money buying it means we are happy and we know we are not.

apologies are free so no problems

Excellent effort, have no doubt that the board and Wenger are finally getting the message. This type of action is very encouraging and gives me a feeling of optimism. The chant "Arsenal til I'm skint" was brilliant.

david o leary spoke very well on that vid, well played david

Re: BSM March before Swansea
These demonstrations must extend to Wenger soon, the excuses are running out, and we are losing to inferior teams due to poor management and preparation.
Take the Wenger out banner to the next BSM march. It is not a taboo topic anymore, people will understand.
The fact that Wenger spunked £12m on Giroud, £11m on Gervinho and £7.5m on Santos is NOT the boards fault, it is completely Wenger.

That's exactly the point - when given the money to spend his track record of recent years has been awful. Cazorla and Arteta I would say are the two exceptions to the rule. Even Podolski, who everyone raves about, has been shocking for half of the games so far.N1Goon wrote:The fact that Wenger spunked £12m on Giroud, £11m on Gervinho and £7.5m on Santos is NOT the boards fault, it is completely Wenger.
As you have highlighted £30m for those three is a fucking sick joke, especially when cash is supposed to be at a premium. Think of who he could have signed for that money - Huntelaar could be bought for the same price and now less than we paid for Giroud. A player that has proven he can score goals throughout Europe, in the top competitions and at international level....but why buy a player who doesn't need a 12 month adaption period eh?
I know what's going to happen next - he's going to spend whatever budget we've got left on Zaha. I've got two mates who are Palace season ticket holders and much as they love the bloke they think £18m+ would be way over the top. The view seems to be that's he very good at that level but loves lots of stepovers, and trying to take the piss....something that won't be tolerated or effective at PL level.
Remember we also spent £15m on Arshavin plus ridiculous wages, which worked for about a year and quite frankly has been shambolic for 2 years. Squillaci also cost us about £5m or so didn't he plus £60k per week.
A quite shocking waste of money that lot when you look at it

Re: BSM March before Swansea
thanks too each and everyon of you that came on the march. Whoever said there was only 200 is obviously wrong. Could things have been done differently. Yes. Next time we'll have something arranged at the bear roundabout to act as a focus. Speeches etc. The reception from our own and swans was magnificent. Just one dissenting voice, well not voice, his used his hand as if shaking coffeee beans, from the safety of upstairs as the march made it's way doen the ramp. Soon beat a retreat when he realised those standing nearby were agreing with us.
Hopefullky fans will realise we've kept to our agenda.
