Olympiacos cl game thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just read on ceefax or Sky text that Gerv the swerve says Arsenal have a chance of winning the Champions League because he believes that Barca and Real Madrid are not playing up to standard...listen Gerv no one plays to your standard..not even in pub teams .

We will lose 5-0 and everything will still be rosy in the Wenger garden.

Same as DB, I really don't care, I always want Arsenal to win but on Saturday I watched 30 mins on a stream, then got so bored took my dog for a walk and then went to the gym.

I saw our result on one of the screens in the gym and tbh I wasn't that surprised and only mildly disappointed as this would normally ruin my weekend.

What's worse is that some Manc supporters down the gym would normally rip the piss but they actually feel sorry for me and give me an easy time......now that is soul destroying  :?

He's bringing the stiffs

The regular senior members of the squad who will travel to Greece are: Wojciech Szczesny, Carl Jenkinson, Thomas Vermaelen, Sebastien Squillaci, Andrey Arshavin, Gervinho, Tomas Rosicky, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey and Marouane Chamakh.

The rest of the squad is made up of youth players.

That's a shocking squad he's taking out there and it's totally obvious he is throwing the last game yet again, for the umpteenth time. It will come back to haunt us when we get Barca yet again.

Why is it that Arsenal are the only 'tired' team around? Clubs like Norwich played three times last week and still managed to get results.....what the f*** is going on at Arsenal?? I don't think it's tiredness at all, it's all in the players heads, they are a bunch of pussies who wouldn't know a hard days work if it slapped them in the face. :banghead:
