I'm sorry but I don't blame RVP

I'm sorry but I don't blame RVP

Post by gingeadams »

I'm not going to be joining in the abuse the RVP gets at every game (especially away games) any more.

It's clear to see he left for the EXACT reasons we are all getting so mugged off with; lack of player investment, lack of ambition from the board, having to play with a bunch of barely good enough team mates and a clear decline in the playing staff over the past ten years. I'm sick of the same tired excuses from Wenger. " blah blah blah We were jaded". JADED? You've only played 14 games. Maybe investing in a BIGGER SQUAD might stop some of these precious little whingers feeling jaded.

Just to compare the the team with that of 3, 5 and 10 years ago and you can see the slippery slope, and as an addition we fans are getting charged through the nose to watch ever worse football.

See how fighting for the league each year has been replaced by finishing in the top four. If that is all our ambtions, no wonder we will end up mid table. Shocking.

Fair play Robin, many could say you did the right thing.

If he'd have said and done exactly the same things but joined Real Madrid people would have forgiven him. Its purely because we have to see his face every week in the Premier League and doing well for them as well.

Nobody can doubt that he left to give himself a bigger chance of winning stuff, and yes of course some more money as well.

I'm sure he'll be laughing loudly at the end of the season when we're singing stupid bitter songs about him being a rapist, and he's celebrating with a title winner's medal whilst we're languishing in mid-table

Of course no one can blame a player for wanting to win things. But with VanCuntface what wrankles a bit is the fact the prick sat on our treatment table for the best part of 7 years, earning a huge wage, contributing barely fuck all to the cause, and then suddenly after a decent half season and ONE amazing full (FINALLY) season he then suddenly finds the club don't match his ambition? Cheeky fucking kúnt. :x

The fact we are underachieving and failing year after year doesn't make VanCuntface some type of footballing purist and decent honest bloke for leaving. He did what was right for him, and only him, and ok who can really argue against that? But he is still an ungrateful kúnt. Many people love to unload this one solely at Wenger's door, and he does share in the responsibility because he is fucking killing our club let's make no mistake, but VanCuntface is just as guilty here. And yes the fact he went to the MancFilth really does piss people off and why the fuck shouldn't it piss them off?

Logically speaking I've always understood his reasons for leaving. I can even understand how he ended up at the mancs, of the options that were actually available to him. But any time I see him in that shirt logic is rendered meaningless and he is a *word censored*. Time to move on though, said it before but it just makes us look like a scorned heffa screaming "yeah, well you aint shit anyway, I'm glad you fucked my sister I dont want you anyway!"

You aren't alone in that believe me.

Plenty of people don't blame him for leaving to win a trophy after all his years here, but I guess you gotta go along with the crowd right?

Alllllltogether now........SHE SAID NOOOOO ROBIN... :rubchin:

Exactly right - when does logic come into it for football fans?

He's an ungrateful fuck-featured judas cuntstain. FACT.

But yeah, let's be honest, who in his position wouldn't have done it? Doesn't mean he should be fucking praised for it though, the period-breath looking kúnt. :x

Also, had he stayed we would have had a very decent frontline - and the Lack of confidence that is currently running through the squad like a dose of salts would not be happening....he is a *word censored* plain and simple....

I never blamed him for going for one minute, why should he stay, he has a family and a living to make the same as the rest of us. Why should he not get one big paycheck and go and have a chance of actually winning something big with a real club with ambition, if he stayed, he would be on half the money and surrounded by shit !!Good luck to him and thanks for providing us with CL football this year. Him winning the PL this year is just two fingers up to Wenger & the Arsenal BOD’s and that’s fine by me if that adds to chance of change at my club.

"A living to make"? Jesus Christ, thank fuck he'll be able to put enough money in the electricity meter for his peasant wife to cook his starving kids rat stew. Not like we paid him millions and millions to sit with his feet up playing FIFA for 6 and a half years.

His reasons were going were the right ones: he didn't up sticks for the money, he went primarily for the ambition and if we'd have given him that he'd have stayed.

That said, he conveniently ignored the fact we carried him when he gave us drips and drabs for 6 and a half years, his self-serving statement was a fucking disgrace and his behaviour while still captain of Arsenal FC was fucking shocking. Not to mention the fact that despite taking a disgusting amount of money off us for 8 years with a very modest return looking at that period as a whole, he insisted on engineering a move to United, of all clubs. Also, his mouthy wife and dad didn't help things, along with quotes from him before that he completely shat all over.

It's not a case of taking Wenger's side or van Staplecunt's side. It pains me that we let a world class player who carried us last season go, especially to United, and I want Wenger and the board to fuck off. Now. But that doesn't mean I can't think van Staplecunt is an absolute turncoat wanker too.

Very mixed feelings on this......there is no doubt that he should never have been sold to them c**ts but we are american owned and run nowadays and those c**ts know nothing about our traditional rivalries  Wenger on the other hand does know all about our rivalry with them and should have blocked the move but I feel that it is more likely wenger look after the interests of one of his "babies" (rvp) rather than protected the interests of our club :x
From van persie's point of view he probably thought (mistakenly) that going to manure was better than going to citeeh _ I heard so many Gooners saying that the one club that they didnt want him to go to was citeeh which was ridiculous imo cos we have decades of ill feeling with the manure that cant be wiped out by 2 years of oil money. Personally I would much rather sell all of our best players to citeeh than to sell even one of them to manure

Agreed 100% augie. Interesting point about Wenger putting the interests of RVCF ahead of the club's interests too. Nothing would surprise me with him nowadays... :|
