Mourinho yes or no?

Post by Chippy »

Looks like Moaninho is on his way out of Real.

Would you want him to replace Wenger next season?

I voted no cos I really can't stand the bloke even though he would probably bring success back to the club.

No.
Because I just cannot see the board taking him on.
Think they will stick with Wenger until 2014 unless Wenger resigns.

Rather have Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp for Arsenal.
Possibly Remi Garde and Steve Bould teaming up too?

100% YES. The man is a born winner, he's proved that time and again and even did so on a budget with Porto. He would clear out the dross, instill a winning mentality (that's aiming for 1st not 4th) and create an amazing team spirit that would be at polar opposites to the dross being served up by current regime.

It will never happen mind, I doubt Ivan or Stan even know who he is

Yes, yes and an emphatic yes! Some people might well think he behaves like a *word censored* sometimes but how is that so different from how the current Arsenal manager behaves? I for one wouldn't mind returning to the days of 'no-one likes us, we don't care' and success, rather than being 'admired' but continually losing.

Mourinho defends his club to the nth degree, is a better tactician and motivator but more importantly, won't stand for under-performers without doing something about it. I'd have him at Arsenal in place of Wenger every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Okay but given the choice of Mourinho or Wenger and more of the same, what would it be? :rubchin:

No.

He needs a cheque book the size of which we do not have.

He signs players in their prime with 'no re-sale value'.

He wouldn't come anywhere near us.

And, from a personal point of view, he's a classless piece of shit.

That being said, he would definitely bring silverware to the Arsenal, but it will never happen.

Is this for real?

How can anyone say no to Mourinho?

Only in our dreams would he want to manage us anyway.

Kind of what I mean. He would never join us us unless Usmanov took over and gave him a blank cheque book.

YES motherfuckers YES. I used to be all No motherfuckers NO! But after the last 8 years of trophy draught and no change in the offing? Fuck that - I'd let him in tomorrow. He is an arsehole that talks out of himself, but sure hey what the fuck - we have one of them in charge now!

But Moron-hio is the type of arsehole that wins things every fucking year. What's he on? Something like 22 trophies in the last 11 years or some mad shit like that? Sure, take out the shit ones like charity shields and he still pisses all over Arsene's trophy haul for the same time period.

I won't like him, but fuck me sideways, that's never the criteria to judge a manager by.

What blank cheque book did he use when he won the UEFA cup and Champions League with Porto????

Voted no.

For footballing reasons I wanted to vote yes. He has the winning mentality, that we have lacked for too long, and his knowledge of football tactics is to be applauded however, this bloke does not have the class to be associated with Arsenal FC. He plumbed new depths of shame whilst at the Chavs and his behaviour since has not inspired me to have a change of mind about him.
Form is temporary, class is permanent.

My other kop out is that the board would never pay him the going rate to assemble a title winning team/squad.
