Probably is a bargain as that's where Wenger shops, at bargain bins !!
Well, as long as he turns out to be the real deal i don't care how much he costs, although the fella does say that he can miss some easy opportunities......sounds like a perfect replacement for nasri.. :D
I know what mean but this signing doesn't excite me or give me the required groin grumble!!
At your age Frank you'd need our new French signing to be called Viagra for you to get a groin grumble :?

Sounds like Arshavin (from a couple of years ago)
Wenger must have some confidence in the defensive powerhouses he will be signing or we're in for another rollercoaster

i'm glad we got gervinho. the lad has just won the french double (think what you want, winning a domestic double is a nice achievement even for a weaker league like france) scoring AND assisting into double figures. his scoring ratio is one every two games, which is decent as well even for france, specially since he is a winger and not a striker.

he is familiar with our formation and with the way we play and with the official language of the club (french  ) as well. and we payed around 10M for him, which is a fair price.

be welcome lad, hope you can score loads of goals :barscarf: :barscarf:

and now for the 8 defensive signings we need

I think its a credit to this forum that most of us knew how utter turd this lump was even before Wanker signed him.
The few usual AKBs had him hyped up. Us fans no nothing eh?

I'll leave it there because I'll probably say more I regret otherwise.

A poor mans Walcott hes been described as. Think about that for a second.

And hes off with his buddies to the ACN for half the year.
Irish Gooner wrote:If anyone thinks this guy will improve the side they are seriously deluded.

There was alot more hype and stat pulling, and talk of experience about Chamakh, who actually did have CL experience, and was free, and even then look how he has turned out?

I remember some on here telling me he worked as hard as Tevez and was a physical beast. Now Chamakh is a decent player, but this guy isnt as good so why are we buying him?

I dont rate Ashley Young as top class, far from it, but I would be a damn sight happier to have him come here than Old Trafford.

It comes down to that at the end of the day, who do you think is better Young or Gervinho?

If hes not better than United subs why are we buying the bloke. Anyway thats enough IM OUT

Have only been following Arsenal closely since the late 90's but I am pretty sure Gervinho is up there with the worst professional footballers I have ever seen at Arsenal.

I have some distant memories of Inamoto making a stink, but Gervinho really is something else.

Who in the name of Jesus, Mary and Bollockfuck scouted this Shetland Pony-haired wanker 50+ times and thought "you know what, we've got a limited budget but this guy's worth £13m!"? Was it Grimandi? Rune Hauge in a Gilles mask and wig? How did this happen? There is no way on god's green earth that some kind of payola wasn't involved in this wankstain being brought to Arsenal. The footballing equivalent of finding a skidmark on a hotel towel.

Somewhere after the ninth circle of hell there's a tenth one where Gervinho runs round and round on a constant loop chasing after his first touch. :banghead:

Complete waste of space....... all I saw tonight was an assist outweighed by an awful lot of mediocre play. Never has been good enough for the Arsenal and never will. Another classic Wenger signing. "sigh"
