As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Yeah I'm not a big fan of Rubes' opinion(s). After he said that Tomas Rosicky was our second best player last year (after RVP) he lost all credibility in my books. I thought his line about the BSM was pretty out of place.
Does the BSM protest typically continue in the stadium, from the fans who are ticket holders?

Ungrateful fucker, 17 years at the club and here he is compl......ooh, hold on its not THE David O'Leary but a name changer
Sounded good actually but if your gonna change your name to an arsenal player, make it a legend at least, a TA, IW or such like
The irony being here is that my name actually IS David O'Leary - Sky Sports for some reason thought I'd made it up? Not sure why...
David O'Leary...
Nigerian, huh?
But seriously don't take the piss, I have a 30% share in 320,000,000 euros, this is kosher as the middle man is an independant financial consultant and used his real name (I can't divulge this, some fucker on here will try and get in before me ).
He has a client ( a prominent Politician, currently seeking refuge in Nigeria, he is a Former adviser on Security Matters to one of the recently dethroned African Leaders) who has 320Million.....fuck it, I've said too much already
Thanks very much, yeah no idea why they did that. The fella on SSN kept saying to me before I went on air "What's your name, what do you want us to call you?".... I was like, Well - David O'Leary is my name. He wasn't having it.
Cheers for the welcomes. Not sure I'll be about much I try to do a bit of PR for the BSM on the forums as and when I can but it's getting hard with time. On Saturday I spent most of the day either being filmed or doing radio interviews. I don't mind as it's what I believe it right but it's certainly time consuming.
Any questions etc DM me and I'll try and get back in touch with you when I can. Thanks again for the warm welcomes... and keep the good Arsenal word being spread.

Nowhere near a 1000, couple of hundred on the roundabout maybe a few hundred more to one side. This was an embarassment tbh, the club will take more notice of the boo's in the stadium than what turned out to be an incipid march not much better than the teams performance.
If you want to make your voices heard, its got to be in the stadium and right into the ears of the manager and the board.
The club have said there were 500, the police told us up to 1800 and one copper said 2000. Keep in mind by the time we got to the roundabout a lot had broken away and gone in the ground. The march started at the Cannons on Blackstock Road. By the time we got to the bear roundabout we had been going for 20 mins.
I'm a big fan of your work with the Black Scarf Movement, I think uniting the discontent Arsenal fans under one movement is certainly the best way to go, but I have issues;
Firstly, the march took place on Saturday and then the majority of those who had just marched against board greed, player wages, etc, went to the Emirates and paid their cash! This is ridiculous. Are there any plans for a BSM boycott?
Secondly, the BSM so far seem to be ignoring the glaring elephant in the room that is Wenger. There is abuse hurled towards Gazidis, and that is seen as acceptable, but Wenger is liable for just as much, if not more abuse, in my opinion (Wenger interviewed and hired Gazidis!)
We know he is at fault for a lot of the current problems we have, but I can understand the BSM not holding a anti-Wenger agenda as of right now. Being anti-Wenger could be seen as too radical by some and being labelled as some kind of militant anti-Wenger society would be the death of the BSM.
When will Wenger be held accountable by the BSM? Are there plans to incorporate an anti-Wenger agenda to future BSM marches?
Lastly, would you allow the infamous 'Wenger out' banner to be taken to a demonstration, or if it was shown at a match, would the bearers get any support from BSM members?

Firstly it was a Cat C game so tickets were more affordable £25.00 ish I believe, though I didn't get a reduction on my ST for this game! Secondly a lot of ST holders were on the march who had already paid their money. In terms of a stay away... could you or I afford to buy a ticket and not to go? And if we didn't go they'd just sell our ticket to a JCL or whoever so this would be very hard to implement

Public opinion is turning. We cannot help but be respectful of what AW has done for Arsenal in the past but that doesn't make him immune from criticism here and now. In terms of the BSM and a Wenger out movement that's something we are NOT about AT ALL. We are shortly to issue out a questionnaire to members and this will be one of the topics.

As above. It was also pleasing to note that there was NOT 1 anti AW song on the march Saturday

The BSM's stance still is fully behind AW and the players. Some members of the BSM however are starting to voice concerns. In terms of "the banner"... At this stage the BSM wouldn't be backing it though subject to our members views this could be subject to change.
