Adebayor

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Adebayor

Post by whl7104 »

I swear to god if I hear anyone sing the Adebayor song again, I'll slap them. the past six games have been proof that all of his success has gone to his head, and now he thinks he's Henry, and he's nowhere near that level. He's even got his own version of the Henry "death stare" from last season when he doesn't get the ball. I think what really set it off was when the players came up to the fans after the victory in the San Siro and everyone was signing that song, because ALL HE DID WAS SCORE A TAP-IN THAT THEO CREATED!!!!!

If you're going to sing, sing for Flamini, who is a rock, who has passion for the team, and who even clapped the fans as he came off today at shitford bridge, or sing for the team as a whole, like a classic such as "Good old Arsenal" which I never hear anymore.

Adebayor has been big this season, but he is NOT Henry or Wright, and we should keep him in check and let him know that he is a part of a TEAM, which has been his problem as of late.

agree with you mate,he does think he is 'the man' and has started to act like thierry did.he's got to understand he is not irreplacable and he is not the best striker in the world, for me he is not even the best striker at arsenal

He is playing like he did last season....not always looking like he is fully committed. But then if he scores 8 goals to the end of the season I will forgive him!

its great song to sing and listen to its so catchy that i find myself singing it all the time but yes yes yes Ade is slowly beginning to believe he is the new titi fuck sake someone needs to tell him where the striker is positioned on the field nothing more annoying than when we are attacking and he's on the wing trying to ball into into who? himself?

Oh, it's a great song, and I do like it, but he just needs to not hear it.

What do fans need to do then? Whisper it  I agree with you though, I don't sing it (although I think it is good) because Adebayor is getting too arrogant.

Ars-enal, arse-en-aalll. Give them the ball and they will score????

Arsene should have pulled Ade up. Either he or RVP needed to be up top but neither where.

IMO Adebayor is suffering like some other membrs of the team; hleb, fabregas, flamini from playing every game this season!!

Dont forget, Adebayor has run the line on his own for the last five months n the absence of RVP. I seem to remember even Msr Henry not being too lively in games when he had to do the same.

Agree he is not firig, but if we had a decent consistent class replacement he may have benefitted from a bit of a rest.

Well thats my opinion, I might be wrong and he could just be a flash in the pan

the only player who has played in every game and started evry prem game is clichy, he aint strugling with fatigue so that argument is bollox sorry. fatigue is a fucking excuse for lazy *word censored*
