From what he is saying when Cesc arrived at Barca he did NOT know the first thing about football tactics...he had NO F*CKING IDEA!...so that means wenker gets the players playing tippy tappy in confined spaces but doesn't DO Tactics...and apparently Bould is NOT allowed to coach the players/team/defence etc...he now does what pat rice used to do - put ut the cones andtell them to run in and out of them on match warm-up day!..

W . T . F!!!!???????????? if true then it is unfriggin believable and unforgiveable - No wonder fergie was always able to out 'tactic' us...wenger you *word censored*. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I hate the man he is now. His dismal record aside since 2006, how anybody can defend his constant lying to the fans along with his perennially petulant behaviour on the sideline and in front of the media is beyond me.

The longer he stays, the more he is ruining a wonderful legacy he created prior 07 - I say 07 because up to then we were still considered contenders of at least cup comps let alone known for the beautiful football. Since we blew the league the year Eduardo suffered that season endin injury, Arsenal haven't been the same because Wenger is clinging on to the tactics and premise that worked back then.

I have no doubt in my mind that if Eduardo never got injured in such a way, we would of win the league and things would of been a lot different...

Maybe.

Sycophantic nonsense like this from writers who hold themselves out to be fantastic journalists is ridiculous.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... 3U.twitter

Something which people always miss when bleating on about net transfer spend is how Wenger has been able to profit from player sales from his previous successes. Compare us with Spurs, look at the relative state of the squads in 2005/06 seen as this is generally accepted where Wenger started to decline.

They're now broadly on a par with us, no questions really. We spend 50% more on wages than them and there's been a huge disparity for that entire time. Our net spend since that time is lower BUT everybody in the media ignores the fact that Spurs had no assets to sell and fund future spending whereas Wenger's net spend may not be much over that period but he was able to realise £125m+ in player sales of Vieira, Henry, Cole, Toure, van Persie, Fabregas and Adebayor in comparison to Spurs getting pittance in comparison from assets from that squad. Add to that their managerial chopping and changing and it shows the true extent to which Wenger is 'overperforming'. Tbh you could do the same with any club but Spurs lend themselves best to the comparison.
