Invincibles Day / Nasri is a Twat....

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I agree with nut flush gooner completely.

Nasri is a proper mercenary twat, van Persie was a great player for us and his departure will always hurt more.

That said, I'd rather Man City win the league, don't want van Persie being proven right even if he is.

He was a great player? The c..t only played a season and a half for us! Anyways as said there's another tread for this topic

So he isn't allowed to choose the club he goes to??!!! As for Nasri, he slagged Arsenal off and the fans (remember what he said when they won the league the smug wanker), what planet do some gooners live on.

You just proved my point about bitterness.
Of course fans are bitter. At least Nasri made it clear he held the fans in contempt, van Staplecunt released a pathetic statement designed to pull the wool over some fans' eyes and detract attention away from what a *word censored* he was by placing emphasis on the club. And it worked. At least if he'd have come in front of the camera and said "thanks for paying my wages while I was injured for 6 and a half years but fuck off" at least it would have been honest. Instead he used Twitter to announce he was leaving with a self-serving statement and no acknowledgement of our patience.

And of course it's relevant he pushed for a move to United. He was at the club for 8 years, he knew exactly what fans thought of United. Nasri didn't continually have family members coming out about he'd never leave and never came out with supposed displays of affection for the club and the fans and certainly didn't make the same statements that van Staplecunt did about never leaving. He was captain and he slagged off all his team-mates and disrespected the club and the fans whilst still captain, and made it impossible for us to make him honour his contract (not that we would have) with his statement.

Tbh if this is going to degenerate into another argument on this topic there's already a thread for that.
Actually damn good post. However we have to face facts. RVP at 22M was a good price. considering based on one good season.

However what really gets me is that, if Wenger considered that if he signed another 2/3 players we actually be in with a reasonable shout of a run at the title.

Scant consolation but its something. At least the buck-toothed lesbian chipped in with the vital touch to fuck their unbeaten record up

Come on, Van Persie left to progress his career. The other issues are just background noise.

Nasri, Clichy and Fabregas left for similar reasons. Players want success in their careers, and sadly you cannot achieve that at Arsenal these days. All will go on and win important trophies, whereas over here at Groundhog FC, we'll continue to fight for the virtual 4th place trophy, a CL quarter final and talk up the merits of the financial stability trophy.

Put your bitterness away and face facts. We're a stepping stone club, and will remain so until Kroenke fucks off or we get lucky with a hungry, talented manager. Unless that happens, we might as well get used to losing our best players again and again.

Anyway, it's not all bad; we're running out of quality players to sell :barscarf:

Van Persie made the right choice to leave. United are streets ahead of us now and the only team that has stood up to the money men. I wont be backing up Arsenal again until they show the class that they used too.
City got beat for the first time this season and I also celebrated RVPs goal. What an amazing player he is and would never have left even 6 years ago.
Nasri is a total Lesbian bottler glad we got rid of that one.

fuck them both. it is funny seeing nasri show the work what a pussy he is (we all knew that already) but i wouldn't celebrate a former player scoring for another club especially not him.

Wait till Walcott leaves, followed by Sagna and then Wilshere and everyone will see our fraudulent club for what it is. People can convince themselves that 'homegrown' players won't leave but once JW10 is fully established in the England set-up and playing alongside all the Chavs and plastic Mancs, you can bet your bottom dollar his head will be turned whilst Wenger goes in pursuit of his 12th consecutive Virtual Trophy

As for Van Cuntslop, surely everyone's made their mind up about him one way or the other (or somewhere in between) by now. :?

Personally I was fucking gutted - the loss of City's unbeaten run and the French Michael McIntyre's pansy flick were only minor crumbs of comfort

I agree totally - when we were winning trophies days like this and st totteringhams day were great bonus celebration days but now that they are all we got I kinda feel embarrassed making a big deal about them
You mean you won't be dancing round your lounge in delight come May if we secure the VT at Newcastle?

Think Van Persie and Nasri left to further their careers, Cesc was that too but also about a return to his boyhood club which would 99% to happen eventually (at least in my opinion) and Clichy I reckon was as good as forced out by Wenger after two poor seasons.

Glad that Invincibles day has arrived again, as already stated it one of the few things that we have to look forward to each season.

The fact that it was RVP that scored the winner doesn't bother me in the slightest, but the fact that Nasri got an assist is quite amusing.

Too many players have left in the recent past (to trophy chasing clubs) to get all bitter and twisted about them when they invariably win games / trophies.

(will make an eception for Adebayor though)
