Bradford match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Fair enough, can't argue with that. However, the reason we are not without hope is your defence and that our two stand out players, the only players we could sell for cash, are our front 2. Hanson will win far more than he loses and him v your CB's is going to be funny. Wells is skilful, brave & is lighting quick and on his way up the divisions far quicker than Bradford City will be.

We can't compete anywhere else on the pitch, obviously, our 2 first choice CB's are out and so are our both our wingers (with pace), it's very much a weakened Bradford team. On the other hand it's pretty young and got bags of energy, can't see anything other than an Arsenal win unless your players are not really "up for it", they have got to be ready for rough stuff because we are not going to be taking you on at football are we?

And that may indeed be the decider... if our lads are up for it. For all Wenger's "mental strength" bollocks talk, the one thing we actually hardly ever display is mental strength. We also do not have a Plan B if you park the bus and stop us playing our tippy tappy rubbish. :|

Having said that, I feel we will have too much for your lads and should win, but I wouldn't write off a cup shock either! Especially if you get set pieces in and around our box.

I've awoken with a nasty feeling that we are going to get knocked out tonight. No logical explanation for it whatsoever. Season over for me if we lose tonight

I think we should go 100% on this. Strong(ish) line up and confirm our place in the semi's!

I agree - it isnt that we are a great team by anyone's standards but we are a typical schoolyard bully in that our players will want to piss over bradford to show the fans that they are still great ( ) even though this piss themselves everytime they face decent opposition

In response to Arsenal Till I Die, can I just say that if it even takes 25% of our strongest line up to win this game then we dont deserve to win this cup  Our Bradford resident has already said that they are missing a few bodies and a league 2 side shouldnt really be able to cope when missing players from what is without doubt a small squad to begin with.
Steve O if we lose this game then I think it will sink the club lower than it has been in recent seasons and that is saying something  If they beat us then fair play to them and we will wish them the best of luck going forward but surely even our bunch of bottling pussies cannot capitulate to that degree tonight can they ? :rubchin:
